  5. The small stingers scoprian size work real well too!! Just have to watch out for the dinks at certian times of year.
  6. I have the 7 strand 30# ss wire . On a Diawia sg47lc reel with Fish Dr 7' Roller rods I haven't tried the 19 strand so I can't tell you about it. You need a good rod holder for these as there is no streach to the line. There is no hit like a wire dipsie hit

    Sounds good, Don't beleve The size and amount of the "Radio " fish you hear It will be nice to know that you can get help if you should ever need it.
  9. The copper catches fish but its a pain th bring one in on it. And it seems to find the rest of your lines if you arn't watching it. The wire dipsie are more fun to fight the fish with and you can adjust where in the water colume they are running in. Two riggers and Two wire dipsies are my basic set. I fool around with the other type of lines when things are slow.

  13. Downriggers handle the weight just fine , add wire dipsies and you will have all the fish you can handle.

  16. Just mix up a little glass with the cloth threads in it and stuff it in the hole and put the screw back in? it works with wood when you put toothpicks is a hole with some glue.

  22. My friend made his with a couple pieces of plate with a chain welded to one and the other slotted so the last link of the chain came through and a padlock slipped threw it. Or you could weld ends on one of those locks for your receiver hitch , just an idea.

  24. Off Taughannock you don't have to move to far to go from150' to 18' the same off Myres pt. Its not to good to have a rookie driving and look up from the cooler and see the rigger cable stright out the back because he went over one of the ledges
