  6. Loco's work well in the bigger sizes, I have caught fish on the J-plugs in the spring , summer and fall. Other things seem to work better though for me.
  7. Use the tiny spro swivels that go through the guides insted of the ring . Than use a snap weight that can be removed or allowed to slide down to the fish when released.

  9. You might want to check over on the spoonpullers board. They won't carry accross the lake except at the west end.
  10. The other plus is that the wire saws through the fleas With the roller tips I have.
  11. Spoon rods I use 15 or17# I think the spoons have better action. And the smallest snapswivel I can get away with, I think they are 30# ones.
  12. Bite the bullet and put a 1000' with no backing!!! Losing a fish after paying for the gas and lost tackle isn't cheap either!!!

  14. I would vote for torpedos or sharks. there are some for sale in the add section. I use 10# sharks down to 100' ok and a 14# torpedo in summer on the probe rigger when going real deep. Pancakes tend to tangle in currents when you are real deep. Esp. off 9mile in the fall.

Tour boats, for example, would be unaffected Isn't that what the fisherman were doing ? Left US port , went through Can. water than back to a US port. Guess you have to fish with a Canadian lawyer ay!
