    Like Ray said the current is visable on Cayuga in the spring . You can see it from east shore dr. The stained run off water works up the East shore and the West is clean.

    If you make you 4 or5 tight loops and a couple of loose ones it makes a long enough section to show the shakers on the rod with out messing with the rubberbands

    My normal spread is two riggers and two dipsies. I just want a chance to play with a copper or a core with out taking one of the others out of the water.

    On a 3 setting 180' of wire is 60' down with a flasher and fly. There are shelfs and such east of Owsego , don't know about west.

    viewtopic.php?f=3&t=19170&p=108812#p108812 There are pictures here. I use the offshore planner board release with a short piece of 50# than a bead swivel. clip a freeslider to the bead swivel to make it a fixable one.

    There may be an orfice at the back of the gauge or sending unit that is plugged with a piece of rust or dirt.

    berkley makes one for less than 20$ works for us. mounted it as far foward as I could inside the boat. Holds pliers too. might have been framblle or something like that . Have to look now
