    Works great Big easy to read display. Dash unit is easy to hook up when you are setting up. The triducer is mounted on the stern like the fishfinder so you won't have to mess with that at the dock. Has a gain unit so you can crank up the power. Fished the entire fall Loc on the same battaries. No coated cable to fool with.

    Older mag 10s have a plastic spool that isn't tied to the elec. part of the rigger. The cable ties to the spool not to any metal of the rigger. So you wouldn't have any voltage there.

    We usualy have two on the boat , thats 4 rods. Two off the riggers two dipsies. When things are slow I would like to put a junk rod to play with, Copper , lead core, drop weight, high dipsie, just something to try and dial the bite in better. The limit is the same , no matter how many rods I have out.

    There was a thread about pumps. They showed that the smooth bore hose was better that the corrigated style. More gph. Its good to have a Holey $$$T were sinking pump

    Fish Doctor roller rods 7' with roller tip. Have the greatlakes 9.5 &10.5 With braid and mono that we haven't put into the water since getting these. The blanks that Jeff and his dad use are awsome. Load up nice and arn't so hard to handle , My old fishing partner was 86 and still could handle a salmon on these rods.
