  1. They look alot like the diamondback rigger rods. Pretty nice rods
  2. Probably not. The conectors are different, You will get a new transducer with the new unit anyway.
  3. A little strip of meat works on the j-plug harness too
  4. Tuna Tom, Fast turn around , Pins the shaft so the spool won't break free. Tuna's Reel Troubles 4583 N. Lakeshore Dr. Ludington, MI 49431 (231) 843-4557
  5. Ray is right the observer is just that!!! They right down what is brought into the boat and the where and when. The Capt. is the one that has to know the rules and what is done on their boat. The Observer makes sure the cooler is empty ( eat all the snacks ) . Write down each fish as they come in. Ask for the gps numbers. Stay with the cooler till its weighed in. Any decision is made by the Capt.
  6. Tuna tom will pin the spool to the shaft , no more problems Tuna's Reel Troubles 4583 N. Lakeshore Dr. Ludington, MI 49431 (231) 843-4557
  7. Check the action of your spoons , changing the hooks may change the action of the spoons. We have good hookups with the trebles. Evil-eyes work well on days they want a slower troll. We use them when the lake is rough and we can't get the speed right. With a short lead , I think we are jigging as much as trolling
  8. I think that two stainless bolts or screws would look better that a glob of dried gunk that didn't work!! Stuck to the back of my boat. Just a thought.
  9. Go deeper to find stable water temps. East wind sometimes brings in the Cold water that changes everything
  10. Lots of them on e-bay
  11. Ray I will watch out for you. Have a great weekend. 2 2 2 2 2
  12. I Think that fish Dr. has on water classes check their web site http://www.fishdoctorcharters.com/templ ... ector=home
  13. Nice report. Its funny how you remember the ones that get away and not as much the ones you get in.
  14. You will like them. The fish do
  15. Well next time a newby ask for advice , you have something to share :rofl We have all done it. Becareful not to nick the sides of the spool when cutting the line off.
  16. The trip arms arn't made exactly the same . Where the weld is sometimes hits the plastic of the main body and won't trip. I have had to file this weld and smooth it up. Then they work like the old ones. Its always hard to loose a favorite one and have to break in a new one.
  17. Sent mine to Tuna's Reel Troubles 4583 N. lakeshore Dr. Ludington MI. 49431 231-843-4557 Super fast turnaround. good price.
  18. Thanks for the info. Thats what makes this board so good
  19. Just like fishing !!! We know what bait to use and the location. Just wait in the cuddy
  20. Cool!!!!! The rest of us stuck in Cortland are so Proud
  21. Nice!!! Hope to be up later in the week . Did you get your starting prob. fixed?
  22. You don't want regular steel bolts on the dash near the compus anyway.
  23. My boat is older, but I had the same starting problem. I have points and a coil. The starter solonid is susposed to send 12v to the coil when cranking. It wasn't so I had like 2v to the coil when starting which isn't enough. Your boat looks to be newer and may have a different ignition system. Just something to check if you have points and a coil.
  24. Have an older Thompson 77 with a305 v-8 Am looking for a fuel slector switch. It goes on the tramson and switches between port and starboard tanks. The auto supply wasn't much help. The hose barbs are 3/8 and there is one hot wire and one ground going to it. Boat started up fine went to switch between tanks and fuel flow stopped. Tried the thumping on it with no luck.
