    I'm also interested in getting a 7mm-08. Would like to keep the cost down but function and reliability are most important. Have heard good things about Ruger. Opinions? Other suggestions?

    Gator, Have you hinge cut the ash this time of year before? If so, how did it work out? Do they leaf out in the spring? How long do they last during the year?

    I am selling my Fish Trap Pro ice shelter. It is about 8 years old and has been used about a dozen times. It is in nice shape. There is a little tear in one spot (see pic).     Little hard to see what you have there. Is that a rod tree with two fixed holders on it?

    It can be very hard to remove a dipsy rod from that position with a big fish on. I would move them up the side a couple feet.
