i was there for about four hours and the first three hours nothing , was getting ready to leave and got four in about thirty minutes turned my day around fast.
Along with my buddie we were the only ones there until later in the day some one showed up at the power plant. The walk back up the maplewood side was like a biggest looser challange

Stop by one of my favorite spots just before dark and right as i was getting ready to pack it up this gal took my jig. Was a long fight as i was using 8# leader. Bad picture, i was alone.
Its apretty big area and although im not totaly sure were the border is i think you have plenty of room as long as your not looking for any canadian drifts. i dont know how much a canadian liscence is but i would say save the money.
One was taken just on top of the drop off in 20 foot and the other was on the drop in about 30 foot. Lost another big fish around 30 to 40 feet also. It goes from 70 to 20 feet really fast.
the launch was fine alittle ice at bottom. I also always hear people say they dont fight good, but man tose two fish fought great very very strong, i thought both fish were gonna be bigger than they were. I was using six pound floro (optima)
skipper, emerald shiners w/ three way rig. There wasnt too much ice, you drift so you just kind of move with the ice. Some of those chunks are huge they look like they are a couple feet thick.
