  1. probably, there were a few boats out, i went east out of the creek. I didnt get out till five o'clock. Ran four lines, two of boards two straight back. Had at least two J-9's going at all times, tried spoons rogues, crystal minnow, 8-12 feet. Saturday i forgot my control to my trolling motor, but i have also been using it to reduce noise, especially early morning. Doug
  2. Awesome, i am sick of putting my boat in alone in the morning with no dock. Like a bellerina on my trailor, tippy toeing trying not to fall in. Doug
  3. I second that, there have been alot of great reports. Hopefully i can start hooking in to some more fish soon. My last couple trips havent had great results, few fish and lots of time. The times i have trolled for hours without a hit have been the nice days. My best day was on a day i shouldnt have been on the water, cold and windy. Anyways, good look and good reports. I went saturday evening and sunday morning at sandy. Saturday i fished for three hours and NO bites. It still was great to be out. Sorry i did catch the biggest perch i have ever caught on saturday, i might have pulled him behind the board for a hour or so. Sunday i was on the water from 6 o'clock till around 10 or 11 o'clock. Had a couple of missed hits, one brown and a steelhead. All fish were small. But again both days were so nice i was just happy to be out there. Good luck everyone Doug

Will never forget this day, actuallyi remember it like yesterday. I was thirteen then, back then it was huge to me. Cought it trolling a jointed silver & black rebel, in Wilson bay. For those familiar i was trolling down by the beach. Maybe this fall i will make it up there a little more and target them, get one a little bigger . Doug

  13. I have a minn kota powerdrive and the foot control only turns one way. I checked minn kota online for the nearest dealer and it said Oak orchard :x . Is that really the closest place. 14. Got out early today to Sandy creek and what a buetiful morning it was. On the zoomed in picture notice the smokestack on the horizon, where is that from russlel station? Doug
  15. I have been having a problem with my fishfinder staying on when i get out on the water, usually after messing with the wires for a while it will stay on. I have figured out that it is the 3 amp fuse. If i take the fuse out and hold the ends together it turns on and stays on. I know you have to use the 3 amp fuse to keep the warranty good, saying that, is it ok if i dont use it. What are the chances it is going to mess up the unit. Or is there another alternative. It is a lowrance . Any help would be great, thanx. Doug
  16. Thanks for the picture that is realy awesome. I have never seen that in person, one of these days or years i might. Doug

  19. Hey Jerry, its funny you said that because i did have trees in the back of my boat in the morning. As far as my buddie Kingfisher, he was doing his best Kermit impression on the boat with a very tasty coho. We were only out for like a hour, was very cold. GOOD EASTER TO ALL Doug
