Not sure how adding a kicker will help the docking issue. Only thing to help docking a single inboard is a bow thruster. The kicker would be put directly over the main, center line up so no added turning thrust for docking. Every brand of boat has it's lovers and it's haters. If you like the layout, and can live with the single, and it passes a survey with flying colors, then go for it. But you and only you can make that decision. Good Luck keep us posted!!!! John, I bought a deck chair from West Marine, and also bought the gimbal for it. Works great for those that can't stand, due to waves or not strong enough with all types of rods. Might be an idea. Ok guys/ladies it is almost time for the LSRC, here is the link for the forms needed, and the rules http://www.mikesmarina.com/marina-events.html This is being run as it has in the past, it is part of the ATOMMIK Triple crown. A great weekend to get the family out on the lake and enjoy what we do, the kids are the future of our sport!!! There will be a picinic after weigh in then the awards along with door prizes. There is a capts meeting on Friday night July 25 at 600 pm at Mike's Marina East, we will be taking entries up until 630 pm that night. Entries can be mailed along with Check to Mike's until July 19, after that cash will only be accepted.
