  1. Same here Rick!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Devin, I used to go under there with the Thompson when we were docked up there. Put the antenna down, and all your rods out of the rocket launcher and you should be good to go. Have not been up there in a few years, but used go through bridge to the lake and would ver to the left as we went out. You will see the gravel bar at the end of the west wall. Good Luck with the new ride!! Capt Rich Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. New transom, with everything sealed properly, wiring along the transom being cleaned up. Along with a few other minor things taken care of. She has a clean bill of health ready to slay the big ones!!!! Give me a call and I will give the whole list, I will have a full array of pics when she is back home. 4. Bringing this back to the top. Boat will be back soon and better than new!!! Give me a shout to get a look at this fish catching machine!!! Capt Rich 3154368171
  5. I have 2 47's that I run 100' ATOMMIK copper on, should be no problem with the blood run. What I did since no line counter, spool one backwards, then count the passes when reeling it on the other reel the right way. Write down the number if passes for future use. I would do this with the 200' first, then when you are ready to spool the 150', just add another 10-15 passes of backing before putting the copper on. Good Luck, and let us know how you make out with the capacity. Capt Rich
  6. I understand where Werner is coming from. It takes so much to put one of these tourneys together and it's always the same couple of people that do it. It is one of the best on the lake, and We all hope a few people come forward to give that crew a hand. Capt Rich
  7. Comparing the Tekota 800 to the new Seagate they have the same capacity, so no problems with 400' copper and plenty of backing. Capt Rich
  8. What did you use for grease? I was in contact with the Sevice dept and was told to use white lithium grease. I bought a can and that did the trick. Capt Rich
  9. John, Talked to Tom, June 21 is the Attomik Challenge in Oswego. Will verify other 2. Capt Rich
  10. John, I will talk to Tom, Werner and Beth for the exact dates. But the LSR Challenge should be on July 26th, and the FHC should be on Aug 23, but don't set those in stone yet. Capt. Rich

  14. Ttt someone is going to get a great boat!!! Only needs Downriggers. Capt Rich
  15. Do you have any pics of how you set it up? I am going to use the tracks for rod holders and maybe a grill attachment, the riggers will be mounted to the transom. Thank You. Capt Rich
  16. The boats I am looking at have 2 rod holders in each gunnel, I am looking for opinions on how the tracks work with the gimbal mounts. The front holder is rotated outward and the back holder is pretty much straight back, does anyone have any mounting issues with the track to the mount? Thanks for your time guys. Capt Rich
  17. Fleet, Haywire twist with shrink tubing for the copper on both connections. Tie the Palomar to the backing first then do your twist, it is a good idea for super glue on the backing side. Palomar for the leader end also, another tip is to redo the haywire and backing knots once a year, before the season starts. Slapper to come on here and stat the info you did and the way you did, did you not expect to get some type of responses you got? The new reels have not been finalized yet, so any issues that were seen during testing will be taken care of. No one is not calling you a professional, but when you deal with public forums, you need to have thick skin. Capt Rich
  18. Would like to know how you say these reels are not good copper reels, since they are not even out for use. Just curious.
