RM, How about 15-40 fish days are the norm, with many doubles and triples common. I had the fish hammering a Howitzer rig 30 feet from the boat on a wire dipsey. I am looking forward to my trip also, May can not get here soon enough. Rich

Rick, That was the morning that I tried in close to try for a big brown. We took one about 5 minutes after I took the picture but it was 1 lb short so we let it go. Can't wait till May, I booked my dates for the campgrounds today. Rich

I was going to suggest putting some lures in the coolier with fish you have boxed for a few minutes and then put them down. I am going to try that this year, I heard it works out on the ocean. Rich

Erin, I use the procure also, I have a lso used the WD40 like alot of other guys. Does it work? Not sure if it does but it does not hurt. If it ain't broke don't fix it right? I will have to try that on the rigger balls Dave, Thanks. It is getting closer. Rich

Tom, I will have to agree with Ernie. With the winters being warmer the past couple of years I think the fish have fed more during the "Cold months" than normal. The lake temp has been higher so the fish should be more active during the winter, IMHO. I am looking forward to getting on the water in the spring and seeing what it will be like. The days are getting longer, it is coming soon. lol Rich

The problem is that the feds see only $$$$$ with all the shipping. Why do you think it has gone up so much. Never mind what is going on with our fisheries, just keep the $$$$$ rolling. It will only be time before everything crashes. We have survived all the other invasive species, but it is only time before we get hit hard. Sorry to sound so negative but it is bound to happen I hope we never see it but it will not surprise if we do. Rich
