I tried to give Dennis some lessons from my Fishin For Salmon On A Shoestring 101 book but the weather didn't cooperate. Good luck pullin the trigger this week. Hope to see the new rig in 2 weeks.

Oh well, living true to form. Arrived late Fri. afternoon with my buddy Dennis & got on the water around 5PM. Fished 150-250fow till dark with no hits and no marks. Sat. started off dropping riggers @ 100' around 5:45AM & trolling out to 350' with 2 rigger and dipsey releases & nobody home. Fished till around noon going back and forth from deep to skinny water till we finally got blown off with 6 footers. Waves were hitting the breakwall & spray was going about 10' in the air. Met Seasquirrel, On The Lam, and a bunch of others at the slips. What a bunch of great guys. Today was another blow off day with waves spraying over the breakwall again at 5AM with no hope of the lake laying down. Got home at 10AM & took a nap after such a grueling day at the docks yesterday. :D Still, life is good, friendships made, and plan on hitting the water again soon.

Tom, Glad to see you had a good trip & got into some fish. Also glad you didn't lose anything more than the sponge this time. Have a safe trip to NC. Headed to Oswego for a couple of days tomorrow. Make sure Ray K. doesn't hijack my name again. :D

I wanted to let you folks know that customer service is outstanding if you ever need anything from West Marine. I spoke to "Dan" in their trailer Parts dept. on Mon. regarding a part I couldn't find anywhere. He couldn't find it, but promised to look it up and call me back on Tue. I was pleasantly surprised on Tue. morning when I got a call back from Dan stating he had found the part. I couldn't believe #1 that he found the part, but #2 he actually called me back. I ordered the part and it will be here in a couple of days. It's not too often you find a company that does what it says they will do and I just thought they deserved a thanks. THANK YOU Dan!!! This was my first time ordering from them & I'll definately order from them again. Good job.
