Yeah, and most of us out of Oswego are on 69. I'd was just wondering if LOU members would use a universal channel when fishing different ports. Hank suggested CH 14. That sounds good to me. Anybody else? Think it will work? Will everyone monitor it?

We ought to designate a channel for L.O.U. to use in any port.

Great pics jt6, there nothing like taking a kid fishing and watching them bring in the fish. Much better than catchin them yourself.

I was up there today. The station is all done with their collecting for the year. I spoke to a couple of guy loading nets in the back of the truck & they said they had a very good year collecting walleye this year and last year. I took a walk up to the dam and there were very few walleye there. I saw a lot of small ones in the creek by looking out the window of the station. Nice day for a ride though.

Why am I getting a PM from John Ehlers to try the strike saver release? If you've got something to sell, try posting some pics in the Fishing Reports section to show they work. Then MAYBE I'll try them. GEEZ I hate getting that spam stuff.

I was cyber surfing on Craigslist and came across a Cannon Marlin Mag 10 for sale. Are these units made by Cannon and are they any good? Any idea what a reasonable price would be for one of these reconditioned? Thanks for any info.

I'm not positive, but I think the shift has to be in reverse. Hank (L & M) will be able to answer when he comes online. Don't give up the ship yet.

craigslist has a lot of them for sale also, some old & some new. Check the list for your area.

He lets us fish with him just for the shade in the summer.

Too late guys. I just made reservations at 4 Mile State Park. I just couldn't stay at a place called daisy chain, er umm, daisy barn with Ray. The banjos do sound mighty tempting though. Bluegrass rules!!! Tom & I have to get together & figure out what groceries we're gonna need. If it were up to Ray, we'd be drinking breakfast, lunch, & dinner. :shock: :)

The end eye will hold up for a while. When it starts to show wear, buy a twilli tip and replace the eye with that. Good to go.
