The one around my belt line I can increase by eating a cheeseburger. To get one all the way around the boat, I'd have to give it more gas. At these prices I couldn't afford to fish.
I either gotta sharpen my docking skills or get a couple of fenders. My buddies cringe whenever I holler "PREPARE TO RAM"!!!  Anyone got 2 or 4 they want to sell?
There's nothing more rewarding than taking kids fishing. Every catch is an adventure for them. They will remember it for years.
I plan on bringing my 3 great-nephews up to Oswego around the 2nd week of April. I don't think I'll have my boat back by April 1st. They are still talking and smiling about fishing on Lake O with "Uncle Bob" last year & are really looking forward to it. And so am I.
I always gotta root for J.J. Yeley (96). His uncle, maybe great-uncle (Bob) was in WW II and was a friend of my father. The uncle was killed in France and my father named me after him. JJ doesn't have a lot of wins under his belt, but he always finishes and comes in on the average of 20-24th. One of these days........ Go JJ
Hey Brian, welcome to the site. I'm sure you'll get a lot of takers on that offer. It's a great gesture. Once the season starts and you're looking for an extra rider, make a post in the General Discussion thread a few days ahead of time with the day and time you're looking for someone & you'll get a response. I'm out of Oswego also, but I trailer my boat. Look for the Islander w/blue top. Boat name is L'il Chet. Usually on channel 68, call name muskybob. Looking forward to some fishing reports from you. Hope to see you on the water this year.
Not Roch. area, but Oneida, NY. http://www.northeasttrim.com/ I've used them twice and found their prices and workmanship to be the best around. Tell them I sent you. They'll remember me as the guy that just brought the Islander in for top and sides. The guy you want to talk to is Doug. One heck of a nice guy. If you're gonna have it done, don't hesitate. These guys and other shops are coming into their busy season. Good luck
Bob
I gassed up my F-250 with the NEW gas a few days ago and drove approx. 30 miles with it. It was bucking a shuddering the whole time on the drive back home. What $hit stuff it is.
Yes, the oil is here, but the refineries aren't. We still have to ship most of the oil we do recover to other countries. We need to build the refineries we need and it's about time to do it. To h3ll with other countries oil. It's about time we became self-sufficient.
Thanks Ed. The silver clown is close, but not the one I'm looking for. They do look good though. I might have to give them a try this year. Much appreciated.
Icekimo, looks like you and your crew really have the ice fishing dialed in. Nice job and great pics. I especially like your way of thinking towards littering. My hat's off to you.
