OK guys, you've been warned before about name calling. This is the final warning, should you persist, actions will be taken and the thread locked.
Sit back, relax, & count your lures & flies or something. Get ready for open water.
Welcome Poonie, I'm glad you found us and we can help relive those memories. You've gotta be a wealth of knowledge so don't hesitate to join in when someone asks a question. Hopefully you can get back on the water with us some day.
Well, you used to be a real nice guy Jim. That crew is gonna corrupt ya & you won't be making it out on the water till after noon by the time they're done with ya the night before. You should learn to walk the straight & narrow like me.
We all look forward to sharing the knowledge we've all learned from others before us. Welcome to the site. Browse thru the information we have here and try to absorb all you can. If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask. We've all been newbies & would like to return the knowledge to make good fishermen even better.
Lookin forward to your first report & pics.
Sodus Bay was still choked at Noon, but by the time I got back to the launch it was pretty much gone. Not much ice along the shoreline that I saw, just patches right on shore.
Got a late start & didn't get on the water till around noon. Lot of crystal clear water for miles & no hits for about 3 hrs. Moved 3 miles & banged 1 small atlantic & 2 nice browns. 5 lbs. & 12 lbs. Stickbaits were the lure of the day. Off the water by 4:30PM
