  1. Oh man, I wish I had a few bucks. But, I could seriously see Nick behind the helm of this baby.
  2. Thanks Rick Last time I went out cod fishing we ended up in 20' seas 100 miles out. I think I've gotten over it and am ready for another try at it.
  3. That would be a fantastic trip. Looks like you had a blast. Would you mind telling us the charter and how much? Thanks
  4. Be advised, the walk to the breakwall is a long one and very hazardous when the waves are breaking or throwing spray on the rocks. The pier in Oswego would be a good start if it's windy.
  5. Hmmm, notes to self: Frank went undercover Frank has lots of tackle to umm, borrow Bring steel mesh underwear w/lock for family jewels safety Put bicycle tire tube patch kit in tackle box Check Mexico area for open slip :D It's gonna be a good year.

  11. Just remember all this in November when you go to the polls. Every stinkin one of them, no matter what party affiliation, should be voted out. Let's start from ground zero and put people in that are gonna work for making New York State a place that people want to live & WORK, not live off the freebies.
  12. Hopefully all 4 ProAms & 2 Scottys this year. You might even draw the short straw and end up on our boat. LOL Good luck, you're gonna learn a lot. Have fun with it.

  16. Ahhh, the student becomes the teacher. Well done grasshopper.
  17. When I had my 16' I used to launch out of Oswego. If it was too rough out on the lake there was still some great fishing in the harbor and up the river to the first bridge. The only thing I can tell you is that I would NOT go out on the lake when there was anything more than 10mph winds from the West. That usually equaled 2-3' waves. Keep an eye on the weather and plan your trips accordingly. Nobody can tell you whether it's safe for you to go out, it's up to you and your experience. Good luck on the water this year.
  18. I knew there was a method to your madness.
