  5. Billy, Siggs Nice lookin set up!! I will definatly be pickin up some new toys this year! That was funny billy, im just waiting for yankee to chyme in....wait for it wait for it.....
  6. I started this season with a bang last sunday with Yankee out of Sandy and he posted some pics from our excellent trip. I went out the next 2 days fishing west, then east not to wear out the fish. The final tally for the 3 day brown trout marathon was somthing like 37 for 44 with 7 dropped fish, 5 double headers all browns except 1 coho- all fish ranged from 1 lb - 9 lbs. The two days were good conditions with decent wind/waves and overcast skies. Here are a few photos from the next couple days. Yankee finally got a big-un on the noodle rod check out the bend in that thing. Back in the water one of the larger brownies we got about 9# Double header Average clean football All these fish were clean of lamprey scars except the larger one above, alot had fin clips, and some were colored like they were just out of the creek. Lets hope this snow doesnt last, I cant wait to get back out there! Capt. Jeremy
  7. Sandy Creek for Jax
  8. I went a few years ago at nite or during the day?....is there a prime time to go? pretty much any inlet had walleye in it that I went to but which one would you reccomend? I mite head down there tomm nite weather depending. :? thanks Jeremy
  9. We ended up doing a good mix on both flatlines, and inline planers. Just got to keep searchin for the good colored water and temp breaks. We messed around with the lengths behind the boards till we dialed em in. Definatly a good day on the water with many more to come.
  10. I do have to say I was impressed with the McCoy. I am going to spool up a couple of my reels this year for sure.
  11. I will take 2 heartlands if there are any left over! I gotta give you a shout, I have questions about the captains exam.
  12. I cant say enough good things about toyota. I recently got my first truck and went with a 2000 4runner. It has plenty of power and tows painlessly, Last season I bought a 21 ft Lund and the trailer has surge brakes which makes all the difference. My father and brother have always owned american trucks and I got my lesson watching them being fixed all the time. I have always gone through the Consumers reports guide to used cars and trucks for any of my vehicles. The tundras are solid trucks if your looking for a pick up, and reasonable priced in 2wd but I wouldnt skimp on the 4wd. It will be worth it when you need it! Find exactly what your looking for and find it, be patient.
  13. I have the Ifinder H20C and the color screen is large and clear, the unit is easy to use but does use up batteries! Mine came with the a/c adapter and I just use the batteries for a back up now. The maps that come preloaded on it are sufficient enough for me, but they are tons of ad ons. A little late but I would definatly reccomend it! :)
  14. The colors look great, I believe I will be placing an order before spring time gets here. Do LOU members get a discount?(even tho the prices are low allready) Check the site out guys it looks nice!
  15. If it was fouled hooked the D.E.C. woulda caught you after your wife did. Did your wife ask if you wanted a picture? springs coming.......another 6 weeks or so
  16. My class starts feb 24 and I cant wait! Dennis seems to be a great instructor and very willing to help me out and I havent even taken the class yet. Check out the website and give him a call.
  17. I just got back from gander mountain and checked out the new Accudepth Linecounter reels! They look pretty slick, and have a much louder drag. They have them now matched up with 8-6 Heartlands for $79.99 or 89.99! I need to pick me up 2 more of these combos! I have 4 accudepth 47LC's on my boat now and love them.
  18. Jax here I am in the market for an auto pilot also, I had a post up on the old LOU board. I have a 21 ft Lund that I just had to replace the steering cable with the a newer R+P teleflex system. Would the AP 14 work for my application? Im going to give simrad a call tommarrow. I would hate to have to replace the brand new system I just put in, for the autopilot. $400 down the drain...? Any feed back would be appreciated Not tryin to steal the spotlight vernman just thought I mite be able to get some help as well
  19. I would like to see a picture of this fish! See if you can post one up
  20. haha...now that was funny! Im with you guys, I cant wait to get back out there!
  21. I am ready to do it on my own, just have to wait till march-april. The boat is in storage till then. I still have my 17ft Tracker for springtime browns until I can get the Lund wired up! When I first got the Tracker it was a mess also, I started completely over and just took my time with it. I uncovered alot of future issues and I knew exactly how everything was wired, and where it went etc. Thanks for the input I am going to just stockpile some wire and supplies over the next mnths and get her started once the snow goes away...wait a minute, I think we have to get snow first before it can go away! I just got done fixing the bilge on my Tracker, what a design flaw where it was mounted. Had to install an access panel into the splashwell in order to get to it. I found some rubber band ends tangled around the bilge, hmmm I wonder how they got there. Now im good to go! thanks again for the input Jeremy
  22. I bought an older Lund that needs the whole wiring system updated. It uses the old style glass fuses and is placed in a moisture rich enviornment. Some of the electronics dont work but will if it is properly rewired. I have a nack for this type of stuff but I think it is a larger job than expected. Does anyone know "a guy" or can reccomend someone to go to for an estimate? I could do it but if the $ isnt bad it would save me a bunch of time and get me closer to fishing in the new boat for spring! thanks Jeremy
  23. Merry christmas to everyone, Thanks again to all in getting this site back up and running that was a great present in itself!
  24. I was just curious if anyone was going to attend? I would be game if we can find one thats good for my schedule.
