  1. That fish is a beast! Nice shooting on the Atlantic- I can only imagine how it fought considering the size. We have taken quite a few ATLs with one pushing 10 lbs this year but that fish is a TANK!! Thanks for sharing
  2. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name:JD's Custom Charters ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):4/10 Time on Water:730 am-1200 pm Weather/Temp:Chilly morning then Warm Wind Speed/Direction: NE then switched to South Waves: calm Surface Temp:41-44 Location:Genesee River LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 14 Total Boated:8 Species Breakdown:1 ATL, 7 BTs Hot Lure: BT colored jointed J-11 Trolling Speed: 2.4-2.9 gps Down Speed: 2.3-2.5 Boat Depth: 5-14 fow Lure Depth: 3-5 off the rigger, and 125-150 off the boards ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== We launched this morning a little later than normal and got in around 730. Headed out the pierheads and we decided to search west towards the ponds. When we left we headed in and found green water right inside Charlotte pier so we set up and worked our way towards round pond finding cooler water with a light stain. There was also a Yankee Troller Sighting with his new Rig. Which is a very nice looking boat that also caught some fish today! First rods to go were off Round pond where we stayed most the morning with consistent action with every pass till the front came through and shut the bite down for us. Highlight of the day was a 6 pound ATL that CRUSHED a flatline pulling a thunderstick 140 ft back. It was AWESOME!! Boated a bunch of solid BTs in the 5-6 pound range with one big guy around 10 pounds. Great day on the Lake. Water is clearing up but the fish are still there, hopefully the rain coming will stir it up a bit. Alot of the boats did well in search mode all day but the warmer pockets of water is definatly holding the fish. I heard of a 16 pound ATL caught today out of the Oak! These fish are going to be HUGE in the next couple years! Good Luck to all that get out!
  3. I think he was talking about the Beef Jerky that he gave you.
  4. Hey guys I have posted a few of these on LOT but thought I would repost for those that dont keep up with the tweets page. This year has been Great allready, 4 times on the water with 5 species of fish boated allready!! Alot of Atlantics, some cohos showing up plus lake trout, steelhead mixed in. Not to mention the great class of brown trout this year! The best part of this time of year is the amount of double headers and triple headers that can happen when the conditions are right!! With getting out this time of year its the shakedown process I do believe I have things inline for this season but owning a boat you never know! Good luck to all that are splashing down this week!! Lets see those pictures! 30inch Atlantic!!
