SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS
====================
We launched this morning a little later than normal and got in around 730. Headed out the pierheads and we decided to search west towards the ponds. When we left we headed in and found green water right inside Charlotte pier so we set up and worked our way towards round pond finding cooler water with a light stain. There was also a Yankee Troller Sighting with his new Rig. Which is a very nice looking boat that also caught some fish today! First rods to go were off Round pond where we stayed most the morning with consistent action with every pass till the front came through and shut the bite down for us. Highlight of the day was a 6 pound ATL that CRUSHED a flatline pulling a thunderstick 140 ft back. It was AWESOME!! Boated a bunch of solid BTs in the 5-6 pound range with one big guy around 10 pounds. Great day on the Lake. Water is clearing up but the fish are still there, hopefully the rain coming will stir it up a bit. Alot of the boats did well in search mode all day but the warmer pockets of water is definatly holding the fish.
I heard of a 16 pound ATL caught today out of the Oak! These fish are going to be HUGE in the next couple years!
Good Luck to all that get out!
