  2. I can purchase a new one but I thought I would check to see if anyone had one. I thought maybe if someone bought one and did not install it for whatever reason.. This is the one for a yamaha 8hp. Thanks...
  3. I usually do not give out my flasher fly information however.I am covid landlocked and bored . I see other guys givin out info so I will give out a little of what works for me. Its very different than anyone else. The rainbow in the picture is a Cayuga lake rainbow. It was caught on a atommic fly on 40lb test andie mono line pulled behind a 11" Hot Spot flasher . Off a Mag dipsey with wire line. You need the heavy line to the fly to get the fly whippin to trigger strikes. You don't get many bites but when you do its usually a dandy. Color, length of leads, speed all depends on time of day,, water color , time of year, and mostly luck .. experiment
  4. If you have a test light Ground one end connect the light end to either S or I in the diagram above . Have someone hold the key in the start position. You should get voltage to either the S or I when you turn the key off and on [start position] I think its the I terminal its one or the other. If you get voltage to it and the solenoid does not Click you have a bad solenoid. If you get no voltage to the S or I terminals you have half split the problem .The problem is forward of the solenoid. Fuse , switch, wire anything . neutral safety switch. Good luck.....
  5. Just got my flier in the mail. Its still on with a $10,000 grand prize. May 29, 30 and 31. I did not see on the flier a place to sign up online. If there is one please correct me. I know its a little tough fishing but your odds are better there on winning than in that damm casino. We look forward to it every year. 315 789 5520 is the number to call for info. Good luck to all. Sign up everyone.

  10. Fished out of Deans this morning with Reel Doc. The laker bite is still as good as it has been. Wire divers with paddle , green or white flies did most of the damage.Just a few fish on rigger spoons.Probably around a dozen fish . Fished close to four hours. The launch at Deans is real shallow. WE did not run any top lines. There was a stout west wind. Here is the best one released to fight another day. Thanks for the trip Reel Doc ..
  11. When I was up at Hughes for about 20yrs we would go round and round about atlantics and browns. The two rows of teeth was the true identifier. [Thanks Skateopedia] Im not just throwing this out there. The guy that caught it was a diary {sp} keeper. Long time fisherman knows his fish. Wrote it down as a salmon first and after close inspection changed it to brown.

  16. Best line to hook starting picture I could find ,its a very simple knot.
  17. I have been running wire line many years,I started out with 7strand mason 30lb and I still run it.On my boat the dipseys are the first thing out as my biggest fish seem to come off the dipseys,I usually run a 10ft piece of brad between the end of the wire and the dipsey. My regular wire line knot is a half hitch then a square knot, never had it fail. When you connect the wire to the brad the swivels are so small it hard to do the half hitch square knot. Last spring I decided to try some different wire knots. This is a figure 8 knot. Very easy to tie. I clamped one end in a vise and pulled all I could and I did not break it, Ran it all last year and never had it fail.I usually run 4 dipseys.I fish the fingerlakes so Im not catching 30lb salmon. Its simple but it works..
  18. These will hold your tuna rods.Stainless steel, Very heavy, top quality. I would guess 1LB ea. I purchased these for my boat but decided to go a different way. They are used. Show some minor scratches on top If sun is just right. These are around $100 or so new each .. All four are $180 shipped USA realistic offers considered.. Or trade for? Paypal accepted
  19. Ive got this Kingfish,I would guess its older than yours.A little different. Its for sale....offers
  20. Some old, some used, some new. The purple, blue is a hot lure. Two have teeth marks. Two I painted. 19 lures all together....Best offer . PM me USA only. Paypal works. Sorry another one of my typical terrible pictures. They are better than the picture.....
  21. I do not fish Lake Ontario anymore. These were salmon killers pulled behind 11"flashers.There is a pack of clean meat heads for replacements. Some have already caught some fish and are difficult to get neatly back in the package . But they are all serviceable. There is a reason there is more than one Black and Purple... FYI you buy meat strips and they are held in the plastic head with toothpicks. I dont know what to ask for them, there are 9 of them. I think $62.50 shipped is fair. probably cost me$ 8 to ship.No tax ,USA only.. Paypal accepted..
  22. Two five gallon plastic buckets with holes drilled in the bottom work fine...
  23. These are the only pictures I have. Winner a couple yrs ago.
  24. BBob I bet your a blast to fish with.
  25. These are MAG size 5" Brand new.Ive had them a few years. 16 lures total. Im just thinning my herd. Offers or. $67.50 shipped USA .Paypal accepted. These are really nice. Just a terrible picture you must magnify it to really see the lures. I was watching a Canadian fishing show and they were catching big lakers on these. So I bought a bunch and never used them...
