    What about" finish the book"? I change the bilge pump yearly. I ordered new rubber baskets for my nets. Came made in China from a American company.. Half the size and thickness of the old ones. I called them and told them they should not be selling that junk,the guy said they have a 30 day return policy. Ive been debating putting the old baskets back on.

    Could use 4 . or any good Ideas on how to make them. I know they are available on line thought I would try here first. The ones made for Brutes are only ones that work. I now have 2 gallon plastic jugs cut out that work OK for storage but not going down the road..

    I stopped at Sampson yesterday .I just wanted to check it out.They did a beautiful job on the marina.The guy from semsen was there in the little round building .I went in to see if I could reserve a dock for the derby..He was saying someone contacted him to barricade off the launch. He put me on a list to reserve a dock he would not take money for a reservation as it would be hard to reimburse it in these uncertain times. He also stated they would be doing the same type improvements on the North end of Seneca. Dam its 4am on a Saturday and I want to go fishing,but the sky is falling.The sky is falling.[remember that?]

    Launched a 21ft boat on the South end today.No problem.. Got Out on the lake around 3[30 this afternoon wind was straight out of the north .Very cold.Ran the boards out with stickbaits.I hate stickbaits.Had one hit and fish was on for awhile.Had another hit and caught a big pike he took both sets of trebles right thru his gills.A bloody mess. All the lures had debris on them when we pulled lines. I was suprised because I did not see junk in the water. BTW Furuno said 50 degrees on top should have been loaded with fish.

    Drove down Rt 34 today ,got a good look at the S end. West corner had lots of chocolate water . East corner had a lot of really stained water . out past the dropoff there was stained water with spots of not so stained water as far up the lake as I could see. It looked like the lake was up about a foot since the last time I looked. The creeks I seen were all running clear. What does this mean? We will find out tomorrow nite with reports and pictures from all the boats.......

    Your calipers are probably seized up.... I ended up changing mine and used a come along on the hitch to get a full stroke.

    New sticker for trailer,new registration for boat,rewire downriggers,a bunch of new lures,new shift cable on kicker,packed wheel bearings,new 12lb downrigger weights.new dipseyrods new bilge pump new dipsey leaders Fresh oil and gear lube in both motors. Still need fresh gas,no rush.....

    Looking for 2 flush mount high quality stainless rod-holders. They need to have the gaskets . I will be useing them for a boarding pole holders. To steady us old farts getting in and out of the boat.

    Two blue diamond roller rods. Used and show some boat rash,nothing major. Handles show some wear from riding in the rod holders.See pictures. Would probably trade. I am looking for a couple good 12lb down rigger weights for even trade or $65 Shipped in NYS farther away shipping will be more. These will handle Kings.... Paypal or good check .

    Usually I start out on the main as its already running get things set then switch over. But you are right ,my mistake. Still one of my favorite pictures....

    You will hear about Yamaha now. 20yrs on a 115Hp . Changed motor oil yearly along with gear lube.Impeller every other year.Pull a plug and if they are brown I put them back in. Changed the timing belt last year for the first time. 15 yrs on a 8Hp HT Yamaha kicker same maintenance as the 115. I dont have the hours in front of me now but many 1000's. Neither motor back to the dealer .ever. I run the cheapest gas I can find.Crank over once and they are running. Quiet , they are very quiet. I would not replace with anything else. Not a salesman but I run Amzoil.
