This is a some what frequent poster with a sturgeon caught during the Olcott/Wilson Pro/Am a few years back. It was caught on a 300 copper.
It was released unharmed. I had to argue with him to let me take the photo.

what do you have for a transducer on your unit? and what are you running for gain?
I agree with you on the touch screen. To big of a pain.
Dave
Hey Ed, the 2000 and 3000 series are I believe are obsolete.
Garmin service on the 4000 series has been very good.
I have a 4210 great GPS ,Fishfinder is ok, . Don't know about the radar or AP
Use my phone for a storm tracker, great. really like that. Use a Garmin application for my phone very nice.

I could not agree with Chris more.
Andrea won on the first day and will receive her check for a 1,000 dollars. If we as fisherman don't support this derby we are only hurting ourselves.
We all like the opportunity to fish for the big king and in this derby, you know if you caught it. To say nothing of being paid for it.
My personal opinion is that you can't expect a derby to pay out more than it takes in,it's only good business. Having talked with Bob Fisher the derby leader he is not going any where.
Let's all get in this derby and make it happen on Lake Ontario.

Went out of Olcott for a quick afternoon sesion. Caught some not bad for the first time on the boat. Felt weird handling rods out again today Saturday.
Congrats on the new boat. Brian and Paul are right it is not going to be the same.
I just not sure you're going to look right. Nice boat. I'm sure we will adapt.
Dave
Hi,
I have twin 350 EFI Crusaders in my boat. I troll on one engine in trolls between .7 and .9 gallons per hour. This is by a Murphy gauge that monitors fuel consumption.
The boat is a 28 Baha. I would be hard pressed to put a kicker on it.

I'm in Lockport now. We made it, the roads are reasonable but getting worse. It started snowing just past Syracuse and got steadily worse. Good luck and be Carefull!!
