  1. Pete: I had a different experience with them, I asked where a commercial grade vac seal machine with a nice $100 off sale price was made (it was not in the info about the machine) , & they came back with China, so I am still using my Food Saver vac sealer. I had a similar experience as yours with Tire rack. I like to check product reviews generated by product non-affilated web sites if they are available. Good info, Thanks John
  2. Tim; Thanks for the info, can't wait to chase the Kings again!
  3. Wow, you guys are tough, nice job, too nasty for me!
  4. Matt; Was your catch rate up with this new tool?
  5. My Fishawk Triducer & my Lowrance HDS-8 83/200 ducer are about 1 inch apart with no problems, going on the third year now.
  6. The Fishawk TD will also so where your junk lines are in the water column, for arond $125.
  7. Very nice, thanks for sharing!
  8. Any pictures available?
  9. They are selling them on e-bay & the price was $18 in the latest GLA mag.
  10. Sounds like a great marketing plan by the manufacturer!
  11. Tim; How can you say that, I take everything you say as gospel! Have a great day! John
  12. Capt. Ace; Nice job depicting your approach to salmon fishing. I enjoyed it. I have a couple of questions, does the Cannon speed & temp unit mark speed 0.5 miles/hour slower than a Fishawk, like the Moor & Depth Raider? When you run an all attractor program, how much vertical & horizontal spacing do you use. I have never run an all attractor prgram, I tend to use a tail gunner spoon or two behind the attractors with good success. I will have to try the all attractor approach this year. Thanks again; John
  13. I am running the Troll master digital on my 8 HP Honda HT motor, & it works flawlessly! Going on my third year with it now.
  14. I use the TD for wire diver rod depth calibration, & run an X4 while trolling all the time, so both of them for me.
  15. I will be interested in two when they become available.
  16. Chad; Congrats on the new family member expected in July!!! The site looks great, nice job, we are very lucky to have you at the helm!!!!!!!!!
  17. Rob: Thanks for the link, enjoyed the video!! Makes me even more glad that I fish Lady "O"!! I spent two years on Lake Michigan out of Sheboygan, lots of fish, but the largest King I caught in the two years was 22LBS (2004 thru 2006) , Looks like the fishery hasn't gotten any better for large fish. We had many 30 fish days but most fish were 10 to 15 lbs. Thanks; John
  18. John; Thank you for the post & link, lets hope we have more water this year! John
  19. If you use a switch, make sure it can handle the amperage inrush at start, as many of the high speed riggers will draw over 20 amps.
  20. Eliminate the need for coated cable & go with the Fishawk X-4. No problems with the cable getting damaged, you can run the probe on any rigger (imagine if the probe rigger with the coated cable quit working). Less blow back without the coated cable, especially when you are fishing deep (100' or more).
  21. Chad: This is a great place & you do great work! Now, the above poll, as of today, looks like we will be seeing eyes & ski's split up, when do you think? John
  22. Ray "cheap shot" Lewis should be banned from this game for taking PED's!
  23. Pilot error!!
  24. What model is this rigger?
  25. Gusto: I run my Fishawk probe on Bigjon Brutes, they have a retrieve of over 200'/min, & I have had zero problems with my Hawk in 4 years. John
