So far the lake is up about 4 inches. Loads of debris this morning. I figure we got about 2 inches of rain. The lake was low to begin with so right now we are at normal summer pool. I expect it to come up more but I have no clue how much. Im thinking it can't be.that bad as there was not much rain to the west so Seneca shouldn't be filling g up Cayuga too much. First of all I will never buy a broker boat again. You have no contact with the owner to really find out what needs attention or whats been fixed, maintenance records etc. The dealer really does not give a crap as they make piddly and just want it off the lot. I had this boat surveyed and sea trialed 3 times. It took 6 weeks to finish the deal and there are still maintenance issues, albeit minor but still must be repaired before my next charter and for what I paid, this boat should have been dump and go. But I love the boat, its in excellent condition now and fishes very well. RR

Ok guys I have gone thru the whole boat and made all the minor repairs and cleaned it up back to show room condition. 2 Scottie riggers, full raymarine electronics package, GPS/Plotter, Sonar, VHF Radio, Autopilot and Depth Raider. Rocket launcher with 12 rod holders and Big Jon planer Reels. Thumb screw mounts left on for a cicso rod holder system. Stand up canvas/curtains with mooring cover. Separate travel cover. Trailer with surge brakes in excellent condition. 14K. There is also 40 gallons of gas with no ethanol in it left in the tank. RR

I had to do an emergency wire replacement last week and all I could get was the torpedo brand. Caught 3 kings on it over 20 lbs with no issues. [ Post made via Android ]

We worked 85 to 60 fow from 4 to dark just west of port. 75 ft broke off a major. Then did a few steelies 7 to 10 lbs. Headed back east and worked in to 65 fow and we hooked up and landed 3, 20 lbers. 2 came on a blue spin dr with Rons morning wood 180 on a diver. Trying to get my bud a good king and just when we started to pull rods, the corner rigger goes off and he lands it. We all got a nice king and caught fish all day. Wonderful way to end my season on the big pond. Back to Cayuga took its time to take out the boat. Good luck to all for the rest of the derby. [ Post made via Android ]

We had a very good morning. Just missed the board with a nice brown. Loads of nice chrome and some 2fluid year old kings. We dropped all our majors. Heading back out. I worked the 26 line east of port the whole morning. Going to work the skinny water west this afternoon. [ Post made via Android ]

Went out solo for 2 hours this morning. 2 riggers down 45 and 54 with green and silver R&R spoons. Managed to go 7 for 7 mixed bag of big lakers and medium size salmon. 100 to 150 feet mid lake. No weeds or fleas. I'll be out tomorrow too. Tight lines! Captain Scott [ Post made via Android ]

I have a new to me 15 horse merc 4 stroke. It fires right up but stalls when you push the choke off. Runs excellent with the choke on. Any ideas on how to fix before I take to the shop? Thanks RR [ Post made via Android ]

I have to think that they all have an internal battery. How do the way points get saved when you take it off the boat in the winter. Actually I think you can change it yourself but it voids any warranty you might have. Prolly any geek could change it. RR [ Post made via Android ]
