  1. 5 fish in combo 3 lakers and 2 salmon/trout or 3 salmon/trout and 2 lakers. Those are some dandy browns J!
  2. You dont want that boat, its got fish blood all over the floor! RR
  3. here ya go. I added single planer masts on each side about 1ft up from the cisco rod holders. Eagles feet used to connect the rigger board. RR
  4. Read it and weep. http://media.syracuse.com/news/other/Pa ... tement.pdf I will make no comment for if i did i would risk being banned. RR
  5. Andy, Cliff in Lansing. I had a new cover for the wifes boat done there and a mooring back drop for mine done there. Excellent work and excellent prices. 607 533 4650. Actually anyone looking for good canvas work in the Ithaca cortland area should check him out. RR
  6. Oswego is the quickest run to the fish in august most of the time. If they are there. RR
  7. 320 a year for my islander with progressive. Full replacment value and all my gear up 10K on the gear. I'm not sure what the liability is but I know i went high on it. Like a 250k or so. Ummmm I had to use it once. Thought my premiums would have gone up last year after the incident but thay actually went down. Not to mention I got excellent service after my wreck. I had a full replacement check 2 days after the situation and a new boat 5 days later. RR
  8. I'm in. RR
  9. I bought my boat with a home equity loan. Great rate and get to deduct the interest. I don't win any money so thats not a problem for me. Glen is the one that has that issue! RR
  10. You had me till u ruined it with the EMG's! allthough some guys love the EMG's. Me? not so much. I am looking for a V to match my explorer though. I prefer the 57 reissues. some one will love it though, good luck. RR
  11. You guys are killin me! RR
  12. Lakers in the spring will be both deep and shallow. If there is any signifgant smelt run, there will be lakers off Salmon creek and some of the others. however I don't target the shallow lakers. I target the LL and browns in shallow and occasionally get a laker. If i'm going to fish lakers in the spring its DEEP! They will be all around the deep bait. Yes to the south end all around the shallows will hold LL and browns. Not a whole lot of natural repro going on at all except for lakers. If I do decide to laker fish in the spring in the shallows its with bait. RR
  13. Tough to troll close to the power plant, very shallow. Last year i pounded the browns all spring and summer, big healthy fish. This year not so much. I just think they weren't in my spots this year. It was a cold biginning of the summer and it really affected the fishing and where the fish hang out. I feel i just never found them this year. But I never really looked either as the Lakers were outstanding this year. Big and mean. I got 2 over 14lbs this year and I was on those, so i didn't bother searching. On the south flat in the spring can be excellent, running boards and long leads. RR
  14. Salmon Creek used to get a run of spawning lakers years ago. I'm sure a few still do it. RR
  15. We are getting to the dreaded 60 degree water every where, which makes the fishing slow! 4 for 4 yesterday, all small salmon. My laker spot is bone dry. spawning time. I was in run and gun mode yesterday to all my spots, bait everywhere and a full moon so the fish were prolly feeding at night. Last trip for me till winter fishing picks up. Yanking the boat out this week. RR
  16. Glen, Pop is good, they are now headed to FL on Wed. Chris, For the first time in fishing for AS for 30 years I was hi rod and beat my Father. First time ever! I hooked 10 and landed 7. Dad hooked 13 and landed 5. I had one evening when I was on fire! Never made it thru the whole pool with out hooking up. RR
  17. A rainbow trip would have been much cheaper! RR

  22. TOOO FAST!!!! 2.8 at the ball. 2.0 to 2.2 for the fall fish at the ball or even slower sometimes. fish 2 lines in the 60 degree water just above the thermocline and the rest in the cold water. Most of my hits last week came out of temp just above the 50degree water. RR
  23. It weighed 13 and change on my digital but the batteries were low. I'm thinking 36 in close to 15lbs. took lots of wire out on the initial run. Though we were on LO for a second! RR
