  1. Thanks john. I have never been to any of these and am looking for a recommendation for lake Ontario tackle. I.e. dipsys, leader material, spoons etc. Thanks Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Are there any? I need a few things and will be in the area. This weekend. Thanks Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. 8 inch and smaller. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. I see nothing simple about it. Do you call before leaving the dock or when you hit the fence. I guess it depends on who answers the phone. Cant call once the tournament starts. What if there is an odd number of boats? Someone won't get a properly documented observer? Too many unanswerable questions. Were all in the boat here as far as the fishing is concerned. We will just have to figure it out within the waters we are permitted to fish. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. I like the decision. I got pulled over at the St Lawrence last year and was given a warning and I swear I was on the American side. Many incidents last year up there. Folks lost boats and big fines were levied. It also makes swapping observers a huge headache to who has the documentation and who doesn't. I will be up next week and I wont even go over there during the LOC. Way to much of a hassle and too much risk if coming over from the US side by water. Also way too much conflicting information for me to risk losing my boat not too mention the fines as well. RR
  6. I was fishing the same water as Pac time last year. 4 miles up from port. We took 9th. So I wasn't over the fence. Not even close. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  11. Really you can be in 100 fow and in 30 seconds be in 50. I don't pay attention to it on Cayuga. I just use my experience. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. I have a new raymarine unit and it's spot on at Ontario. Not even close on Cayuga. Have the latest greatest map card too. I think it has to with the cliffs and rapid depth changes. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  18. Andy tried calling you on the radio yesterday. I was looking for ya but didn't see you. We took a few salmon in the mud where it was 37 degrees. Mostly shorts but we did have a 20 incher. Took a 5 lb brown just before Portland point. Most fish came on firetiger rapalas and rattling rouges in silver and orange and all off the boards. The bait was deep as well and there were fish all.over.it from 120 to 200 down. Didn't fish it. Water was mostly 33 to 34 degrees. Nice to be out. We.need some warm weather to get the bait out of the deep water for the.fishing to pick up. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
