  8. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Time on Water: Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 5 Total Boated:1 Species Breakdown: Brown Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: Down Speed: Boat Depth: Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Left work early and got on the water around 5:30 pm. The boats at the dock said fishing was tough in the morning. Did a beautiful 8# brown 55 ft. over 105 fow on a Stingray NBK. Lost another decent brown 65 ft. over 105 fow on a Mullato Mag. Lost a nice fish on the 400 ft. copper Green dot spin dr, big fin fly. Probably a big laker or brown as it just bull dogged and wouldn't give up much line. A couple more releases and we packed up around 6:45 as the storms looked like they were heading our way. We marked a few fish but nothing great. Nice to get out for a little while as this weekend looks like crap. Good Fishing John ====================
  9. Great job guys! I never thought I'd say this about a Laker but that is a Beautiful Fish!!!! Congratulations guys! [ Post made via iPhone ]
  10. Unreel, The drift bag opens in the opposite direction of the wind. When you have out a trolling bag it opens (large end) in the direction your going. So if your drifting and being pushed backwards by the wind and waves if you deploy the bag off the bow of the boat it should keep your bow into the wind. John
  11. Man that guy on the right is one ugly Mofo.....
  12. Alright I'll call him in the morning. I have his number in my phone from last year. Brian, who has a 28 ft. Grady at Sandy? Thanks for the help guys. John
  13. Thanks guys. Tom doesn't work on Yamaha outboards. At least not last year.
  14. Anyone know of a Yamaha Outboard mechanic willing to travel to the Genesee River. I have a fuel issue with the motors. You can either post their name and number or just PM me. Thanks, John
  15. Thanks for the offer Nick. We were looking to take a family trip up there over the 4th of July and stay on the boat. The kids would like the pool and restaurant. I might drive up this weekend to check everything out for myself in person. I saw that the place was for sale at $2.2 million. I knew about the bad rap from years ago but it has always looked like a nice place in comparison to other marinas on Lake Ontario. Thanks for the info guys. John
  16. Does anyone know if Oak Park Marina is still in business? I've been trying to contact them via phone & email for the past 1 1/2 months and not getting any response?? Just wondering if any of you Sodus Guys know. Thanks, John
  17. Anyone got gas lately at a marina around Rochester. Shumway is at $5.14/gallon as of today. Just wondering...... John
  18. I'm looking to upgrade my boat stereo, speakers, amp & maybe sub. Does anyone know of an installer local to the Rochester area? The boat is not trailerable so the installer would have to come to the boat. I spoke to someone at the Stereo Shop the other day just wondering if there is anyone else in town. Thanks, John
  19. Doug, Just be careful with a portable generator on your boat. The Carbon Monoxide fumes are extremely dangerous. I was thinking of getting a small Honda generator for overnights without shore power to run the air and read some interesting (scary) write ups on Thehulltruth.com about them. I have since decided against it. Just my two cents. John
  20. Price drop to $25.00.
  21. Kensicocr, I have a couple in my Spoon & Stick baits post down below. I also have a couple of siver with one blue edge in my box. The blue is fading though. Send me a pm and I can post some pics for you. John
