  1. Creative Imprint Systems in Erie, PA. I moved around to 3 or 4 people before I ended up with CIS last year. VERY PLEASED. They are awesome!! Ask for Jeremy and tell him Times Two referred you. 814-835-1000 www.creativeimprintsystems.com John
  2. Got mine in Dunkirk last Saturday.
  3. I don't have crocs. Are they warm on a 45 degree day? ** The only problem I have with the PFG's is the water holes too. If you hose the boat floor down, and all the water hasn't drained yet, it comes in the holes!
  4. Looking at finally getting a few days in early May on LO. I have all the appropriate cold weather clothing, but am wondering...what do you guys wear on your feet? In the summer, I use the PFG guide shoes from Columbia, which are awesome and non-skid... but would not be warm in early May. I also have the LLbean rubber moccasins, but they really are not non-skid..... So, what do you use?
  5. For sale: 2 combo's - Okuma 30D Linecounters with 10' Okuma Blue Diamond Dipsey rods model BD-C-1002MH-1. Regular tips. Rods/reels were purchased new in the spring of 2010. Very good condition. Reels are spooled with 30Lb power pro. Selling these because I have the opportunity to get a couple new setups via Okuma to maintain program status with them. Asking $200.00 for the pair. If the prospective buyer wants to save on shipping, I will gladly hold and bring to the LOTSA show in February. John
  6. I did my license with Dennis Daniels (Sea Tech). He offered the Masters and the Towing as part of the class (as an additional cost). John
  7. Interesting article.... http://www.sportfishingmag.com/news/cap ... news013012
  8. Sean: What do you get at this time of year? John
  9. Nice rig, Jeremy! Where did you find her?
  10. Thanks Sean. I'm sure you have the same internal groan I do when you see someone get onboard with dark soles....especially black crocs or sandals! Even with the various cleaners out there, it still is a lot of work cleaning that up. So for cleanup, what do you do, just fold it 1/2 at a time? Sent you a brief pm. John
  11. Sean: Thinking of using this on my Seaswirl. Non skid surface is gradually loosing the non-skid surface. I would have to make a few more cuts that you look like you had to. What did you cut it with? Also, from front to back and side to side is your's tight? I guess I'm wondering if it moves or slides at all. Thanks. John
  12. Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going iphone. Before I do, what does FX have so I avoid that??!
  13. Okay...time for me to move up in my phone technology. So, I figure an xmas present to myself can be a smartphone. Went to the local verizon retailer and left there with a Big Headache. More research on the 'net; ask everyone I see.... I think I'm headed towards the iphone 4s. Anyone have experience with iphones? Good? If not, what might I consider...? Thanks. John
  14. Had a 225hp 2 stroke. That blew up this summer. Don't ask me for a recommendation for Evinrude ( Repowered with the Yamaha 4 stroke, love that so far. Pro's--- very quiet and no fumes!! Con, I think I do sit a bit lower in the water. Guys at the marina figured that I'll spend less in oil and filters than I had to for plugs and oil in the 2 stroke. John
  15. It's a ways off, I know, but I'm trying to line up 5-7 days in early May to stay and fish Wilson. SO, what I'm looking for are places to rent close to Wilson. I did stay at the marina one time, which was nice, but I'm looking for more like a cottage, where we can cook, warm up, etc. Would be 2-4 of us likely. Appreciate any suggestions. John
  16. jimmyi: Not an expert on the perch at the Oak, but I was there Monday and there was a guy that I know fishing perch, and he had a few nice ones. John
  17. Mick: We were up for the weekend too. Stayed at Wewanchu. Very surprised they weren't busier... Were up for perch, as we nailed them last October. Not many keeper size, lots of small ones and sunnies too. Kept my son happy, though. (Probably should have fished Erie heard they whacked the perch this weekend). John
  18. For anyone that is interested, you may wish to check out Overstock Bait and Tackle online. Really great price on chattersticks. Not sure what colors they have, or how many. I have no affiliation with them. Just saw the sale......
  19. Fisho6: Beautiful! I remember Todd....did a walleye seminar with him right before fishlander went out. Thanks for the number! John
  20. Sc... Miller's in Silver Creek (Sunset Bay) has minnows. Got mine there Friday. I can get you directions if you need it. John
  21. Ray: Might be worth it for the perch.....did real good again today..... John
  22. Ray: The walleye kind of tanked on us the last few weeks. I'm still holding out for 1 more shot this weekend or next, but with a great report on catching, plus a 10 year old perch maniac; we had to give it a go. Plus they were darn good tonight in a blue light beer batter John
  23. Had a good report for yesterday and today, so I headed out with my son and Capt. Bud (Alibi) after work today. Got 75 perch in just over 2 hrs. I don't fish for perch on Lake Erie that much, so this was a pretty darn good evening. And we got a 14" perch, which was the biggest perch I think I've ever seen. Live minnows from Hogans Hut on Chautauqua Lake. 65 fow just east of the harbor.
  24. Came up from Dunkirk with Capt. Bud (Alibi) to fish the wall at the Oak on Sunday with LOU member Mick and Capt. Jack. Had an awesome morning landing 7/8 from 12-25 lbs. J plugs and J13's out the west chute.
