Happy birthday to my fishing bud and i want you to know that we all appreciate that you have found a taste for cormorants. Hell, eat as many as you want I dontthink anyone on this board will judge you.
I have yet to run one on a dipsy line, i have dropped one down on a fishing line and it gives ya an accurate temperature reading every 5 ft down and is easy to use
Definately use caution especially with the rivers around being high as it will dump junk into the water. Trees are the worse. As far as success yes we have had good luck this early before
The unit is amazing and accurate for the water column every 5 ft. Its half the size of a cig pack and gives u a digital dummy proof read out. I love it. I had a chance to test it in the fall as soon as i get my boat back out i will make a short video
I wouldnt get the vexilar at all, If you want the best unit in the business right now then you buy the Humminbird Ice 55. I have fished with marcum, vex and birds. Do the research you will find what im telling you
I was walleye fishing in 20 feet of water and thought I had hooked another decent eyeball. I finally get the fish up to the hole and to my surprise a 9.5 lb laker. I couldnt believe the fight in this fish. Possibly because it came out of short water? I caught some decent walleye as well. The laker was a pretty rare catch for the area.
