  2. I'm in love
  3. I just heard from a friend that there is a new New York State Record Brown Trout. The fish was taken while trolling out in front of Stony Creek. The DEC weighed this fish in at 33lb's and 9 oz. The fish was taken by Rex Haldman of Lake George, NY. Ironically Rex said it was the only brown they caught they whole day. The watertown paper is doing an article on it today. WOW I cant wait to se the pictures on this beauty. I bet he would have rather caught it during the Spring LOC. The Henderson Harbor Chamber of Commerce has all the info on this.
  4. welcome aboard
  5. I've got six Tite-Lok aluminum rod holders. They are in Great shape for being used. The bases are with each one as are the allen wrench to adjust the base into your favorite position. They are not adjustable with a pin but they do go to about a50 degree angle for fishing and then flip back into the boat so docking doesn't rip them off. 150 for all 6 or 100 for 4?
  6. I havent seen a lamprey mark on a brown this year. Thats weird and we caught a brown that has that same color. Are these fish that have dropped out of the creek?
  7. Sorry Nick but you knew this was coming. Oh and Bob looked like the emperor from the star wars movies Incident 1) I arrived at nicks at 545am and he was just about ready to go. boat/trailer hooked to truck. cruising down rt 104 we felt something and heard an awful noise. You guessed it 55 mph and the trailer came off the truck. We got it slowed and stopped. Took a look, no damage what so ever. Only the chains holding it 2) the four of us came back out from lunch to find the battery dead. so here goes nick changing batteries , this that and the other thing only to find it wasnt in neutral. 3) after a good day fishing we headed back to nicks place. on the way i noticed we were going the wrong way on 81. he has been that way a 100 times and for some reason we were on 81 s instead of north. Give it to him boys
  8. B.O.B. beats operating bus Double Treble
  9. Let's have a lil fun with this fellas. Ok here is what we know. It is 35ft long, its blue and white like his islander. His boat's name is Treble Maker. I can't wait to see some of these
  10. A muskrat chewed through my cable last fall while the boat was slipped. Airmar makes the transducer. It's for a Raymarine DS500X
  11. well worth the money, i own a few. Easy to replace if something happens to them

  13. Maybe they can kill 1500+ more walleye http://blog.syracuse.com/outdoors/2008/ ... catio.html
  14. The walleye eat the goby as well. Im willing to bet smallies will chow them as well. Maybe they are the new smelt
  15. How's the fishing? Did you see many boats out?
  16. I'll be honest, once I saw it was a walleye I almost had to kick him off the rod. He had to be selfish though .
  17. DoubleHaul (Nick) and I launched out of Sodus this am. It was chilly but no win to speak of. Trolled for a few hrs with nothing. Water temp was high 30's. Went back in got some lunch came back out with a friend of Nicks that joined us. Once we found some fish we were able to take 7 browns in the 2-5lb range, 1 walleye that was roughly 9 lbs. We didnt weigh her or measure her because we wanted to get her back in. Took a few quick pics with her though. Also got 1 steelie that turned out to be a 45 minute battle with the light tackle we were using. The steelie was released as well. Kept a few browns. Dropped a few other fish.
  18. Just what we needed huh? http://www.syracuse.com/madison/index.s ... xml&coll=1
  19. Honestly do not waste you time on a log book. It's not that big of a deal. If you become a captain and start running trips then keep one. I have the piece of paper in front of me that you have to fill out to get your license and its nothing. I just finished all my schooling and tests a month or 2 ago and its all fresh.
  20. I was up there that sat and sun Johnny
