  1. not sure what thier bellies were full of but thier mouths were full of reef runners
  2. I fished saturday with KIO, real nice guy. He pilots helicoptors for the army so i met him up on the base and we headed out. Slow morning for us but once we found some active fish, it was on like donkey kong. All big fish. Once we found the area we needed to fish we couldnt make a pass through without getting nailed by big wallys. The smallest fish was about 4-5 lbs. kept a couple of the smaller for dinner. It was a blast, and we never saw one rain drop the whole day. I forgot my digital cam but i took a couple pics with my celly. It was a nice break from the salmon so much so i think im going to do it again this coming weekend. I still get more excited about seeing a 10lb eye coming up to the boat then i do a 30lb salmon.

  5. I meant to say Mikes, The reason I know, where your camp was is because when i came in sat evening i got yelled at by one of your wives lol. I might have been going a little too fast. I dropped my tent and then took a walk down to the water to see if i should launch sat night and who do i run into. Three ladies. One a little younger than the other 2 maybe. I appolgized for coming in a little fast. They said thier hubbys were out fishing. I shot the bull for a minute with them down on the rocks. They invited me to come down and have a few cold ones with you guys later. I bet if you mention it to your significan other she will know exactly what im talking about.

  19. My buddy called me on thursday and said he wanted to take a little getaway with his kids so we made a plan to hit Oswego saturday am. Set up shop about 6am. took 2 fish in the high teens, both off flasher/flie white on white 70 over 120. pulled off the water about 11. we decided to drive to pulaski and find a hotel for the night. We got all checked in and headed back out of port ontario about 5pm. took 2 more fish in 65 over 75, with the same program. Caught some shuteye and and gave it another whirl sunday am out of P.O. again. set up in 65 and hit a king right off the bat on carmel and crazy bit%$ fly. we stayed in the 65-85 range marking occasional deep bait and a few hooks around. another fish came off of a 42 fly combo. last fish was a 29lb 5oz male off of Dew-B combo. This weekend for me was really about watching the kids eyes light up when fish started screaming. They both had thier lil tasks " the net grabber" , "the scale retreiver" We just tried to make it fun for them. I think they enjoyed it. What wasnt fun is when i donated a 15lb chrome shark and 250 of rigger cable to the Lake Gods. Oh well
