  1. Who elected all the Democrats?
  2. In Bear populated areas, studies have shown they kill aroung the same amount of fawns as the coyote. Interesting read on the effects the coyote can have on adult deer, although its not that extreme. http://www.deeranddeerhunting.com/article/CoyoteKill/
  3. looking for a boat in the range of about 26'-30' in the 10'-12' beam range. Hardtop would be nice, but not needed. Let me know whats out there. Been looking, just don't know if im seeing it all or someone knows anybody selling something along those lines. Even better if there is a trailer or anybody knows where there is one that size. Looking to keep it under 25k or so and no older than the mid 80's. Appreciate the help!
  4. Be careful going out of sodus when there is ice on the bay. Ice chunks can jam up in the chute on a southrly wind. Tough to pull your boat out at the beach.
  5. Ill be out Saturday morning. Sliding the boat down the snow bank is always fun!
  6. May is a terific time to be out west on the Niagra Bar. Kings are usually plentiful and there are always the lakers if the kings are off. A few guys on here run trips out there and you could always check Niagra tourism. Sorry to hear about your friend.
  7. Ive launched my 27' er at the youngstown launch. Very nice ramp. Parking is up the hill I believe. Its a little tough on the trailer bearings, but better than no launch at all.
  8. T, Only caught two while fishing off my grandparents dock many years ago. Just dumb luck.
  9. I have fished from this boat a few times and fishes very nice. Would make a great boat for someone.
  10. Earliest consistent king bite is usually around the end of June, 1st of July. They do get kings earlier, but not consistently. Usually a brown fishery earlier than that.
  11. Mathews bows online are used. Dealers can't sell on the internet so its used or stolen if you find one.
  12. Better hope we don't need to get one. It will end up like the snowmobile fund. http://www.nysnowmobiler.com/nyssa-pres ... trail-fund Politicians are all jokes.
  13. Not sure about the cabins, but the lake is pretty descent for Walley, pike and bass. There is also a population of Musky more towards the west end of the lake. We would do good on walley drifting minnows or trolling worm harnesses. Get a topo map of the lake and fish the shoals and around the many islands. Black flys are bad in Late May and June. Get familiar with the lake before you go and remember only gas is at the west end of the lake.
  14. Sodus, try ryan. He may be able to point you in the right direction. Capt. Ryan Williamson 1700 Atlantic Ave. Walworth, NY 14568 (315) 333-5428 (315) 749-6179 Cell #: (585) 749-6179
  15. Gonna be wierd watching it. Hate to be the one who makes the call on the footage as im sure discovery was there the whole time until his death.
  16. Glenns giving out secrets
  17. Greg, Ill take it if ya still got it.
  18. My thoughts and prayers to the family. Be safe out there. http://rochesterhomepage.net/content/fu ... cid=151892
  19. I have something close to that on my boat. I made it myself. The main support goes all the way down to the boat. Having it attached like the picture puts a lot of pressure on tha canopy frame. If you keep it seperate and something happens, you don't have to replace both. I wouldnt fish a rod up top either, unless it was spring browns.
  20. Dave, With all due respect, this is a problem between you and Chris. This should be a private matter and not an attempt to bring negative publicity towards his or any other tournament. Im not saying that you are, just seems that way. Your correctiveness seems like a pretty weak attack.
  21. No bird limit on the $5000 fine. It would be like hunting with a really expensive outfitter.
  22. Yup, Lime right over the top. A light disking and an overseed wouldn't hurt either.
  23. Glenn, Its the yuan we'll be spending. China owns us. Raider, Oil based fuels will take many years to fade out. Life is short. Don't spend it waiting.
  24. Could be a ph thing. The deer love Turnips down at my camp, but our ph is around 6 after may years and tons of lime. Started with a 5.4 ph and blank stare from the guy that tested it for us asking what we thought we were going to grow. I can deffinatly see an impact on summer and winter feeding as our woods are covered in deer right now. During the season, its hit or miss with the plots, but we have acorns galore and standing corn fields arcoss the raod.
