  1. It was spent. He didn’t revive so he went in the box. When I cut him up, he had bruising on his left side.
  2. Dark and dirty weekend! 🤣
  3. You must have heard about the weekend at the marina? 🤣
  4. If you troll salmon, you should know what others could possibly be running. We are not talking about someone that is just a pleasure boater. There is also NO reason to run that close to somebody. It’s a huge lake and there were not many boats out there!
  5. It was a brand new tracker. I knew it wasn’t yours.
  6. The net job in this video gave me anxiety! Congrats on a big king!
  7. I run the Daiwa Great Lakes roller rods. I have been running roller rods for divers for years. One tip that is important when running wire diver rods is reel position. Do not have your reel facing up. Make sure the top of the reel is facing the front of the boat keeping the wire on the rollers and not off the roller on the roller frames. If you do not run them in the right position, you can be cut off by a king on the hit. If you look at the photo I provided, this is the proper position a roller rod reel should be in (red arrow is pointing at the rod).
  8. Not the same boat. This was out of Sandy. I watched it happen and couldn’t believe it. I don’t understand why people want to fish that close to one another to begin with. Rules of the road, common sense and some decency need to be used!
  9. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  10. Friday: We we’re greeted Friday morning with sloppy conditions and a grind of a day. We fished West of port in 50-200’ of water finding the best bite in 115-120. Kings, browns and lakers hit the deck all day with nothing over 16lbs. It was mostly a spoon bite for us. NBK and A.S.S Dill Pickle stingrays were our two best producers. Saturday: we started the morning in 115-120 East of Sandy. We pounded the same water all day and put a decent box together consisting of three kings and a laker. Atommik meat rigs and Familiar Bite cutbait put all four of our fish in our box that we weighed in. At weigh in, we landed in 10th place and took big laker of the tournament. Congrats to Team Screaming Reels on their dominant win and all the other teams that cashed a check! Sunday: Keith and I got the boys out mid morning for a derby run. We decided to fish lakers for the first time this summer. I set the boat down in 115 and we put a beat down on lakers for 4 hours. At 10:30, we tripled up and Brayden had a big laker on. The fish took 200’ of line on the first run. After a great battle, I slid the net under a 21.06 laker (Brayden’s new PB) and it puts him in 6th place in the LOC, and top youth lake trout.
  11. They are the new ones from Canada.
  12. 11 brand new NK spoons unopened. $55.00 and $6.00 shipping to the lower 48.
  13. We were fishing the Sandy Creek Shootout today and the riggers slowed way down late morning. I pulled the Starboard rigger and there was nothing on the rod. I hit the rigger up and something wasn’t right. The rigger hit 25’ and an 11 inch green pro troll was tangled in our rigger cable. I look behind it and there is a meat rig with a 12lb king in tow! The meat rig had three different colored hand tied teasers and a white meat head. Here is a picture of the tangle and the paddle. The paddle had crushed glow tape on it but it was in horrible condition.
  14. TTT
  15. I will be up there the 4th - 7th!
  16. They stop abruptly but frays and kinks in the cable are on the user. I agree that snubbers should be included on these riggers but Hummingbird couldn't even give me a screen protector for the fish finder I purchased this spring. I had to buy it.
  17. Anyone looking to sign up for the Shootout today will have to contact Rob or Tim. I am unavailable due to my fathers services today. I will be available all day tomorrow. I will be in Hilton and Hamlin depending on the time of day.
  18. Sandy has been very consistent all season. Lots of kings around close to shore.
  19. $20.00. I will ship to the lower 48 at buyers expense or pick up in Hilton NY.
  20. 21 pitch Bravo II prop is great condition. $200.00 and local pick up in Hilton NY.
  21. In 12' of water? The GPS showed an electric line from the main land.
