For the first event, it ran very smooth! A big pat on the back for the organizers! I will be there next year with my own team and boat! As far as the format, IMO, it could not be any better! Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to next year!
Winter is going to come early because hell just started to freeze over! Not long ago you were on the laker bashing band wagon! Welcome to the dark side!
Wow all this interest in peanuts, maybe I should have asked more. Oh well. I hope they get used because they have been sitting in a box due to the fact I like spin n glows better!
Assorted peanuts and spin n glows. Some have been used some never touched water. There is 48 peanuts and 20 spin n glows. These come in the Plano box shown in the picture. $50.00 and I will ship it free to the lower 48.
Penn 340 has a weak drag clicker but still in good working order. The 330 is an older reel but it is still in good working order. $80.00 for the 340 and $45.00 for the 330. I will sell both together for $110.00 and free shipping to lower 48. If they are purchased individually, it will be $10.00 per reel to ship. If they are picked up locally, the 330 will go for $75 and the 330 for $40.00.
Exactly. Coppers of all lengths, leadcores in all lengths, split shot rigs or other drop weight rigs. Hell you can even run divers or thumper rigs off them!
It is all personal preference. They are all good. The difference is options for your money. Scotty's are cheaper than cannons but they do not have the features that cannons have. It is like buying a car with no options or loaded in some cases. My suggestion would be to try a couple different brands. Fish with guys that have Scotty, cannons or big jobs and see which one YOU perfer.
I prefer heaters over sliders. Every time you put a slider back down, it ends up in a different depth and will change with speed, or current. Cheaters can be duplicated over and over again.
Man has to be partially to blame. How could we not? Deforestation, pumping hot exhaust from cars, factories, power plants, vehicles and many other things. Buildings and pavement that were not here eons ago hold heat into the night which would not happen if they were fields and woods like it used to be. This all adds to warming of the atmosphere.
Daiwa Seagate 60 will fit a 400' copper with 250yds of backing. You can get a complete setup through Atommik. The Seagate is a 6 to 1 gear ratio real and makes bringing in copper so much easier. Same drags as the Saltist too!
