  1. Steve you could always tow a tackle boat behind you. Keith has the perfect little boat for that.
  2. You can get them from Diawa. call the 1800 number. If you have no luck, let me know and I will ship you one. I have some on the boat.
  3. Upgrading / getting rid of stuff that just sits. I'm going down to 3 riggers. The 4th has sat for the past 4 seasons and has been used twice!
  4. No boats in the parking lot the past 4 days and all the boats are still in the marina. No one has been out.
  5. Cannon Mag 15 in good condition $375.00. Local pick up or I will meet somewhere in Monroe county. Here is the list of extras: Dual mount front rod holders + single rear rod holder Retro ease Cannon Downrigger cover Ball craddle Cannon Large body lock w/key Swivel base Mounting block BRAND NEW Cannon Power Harness (from rigger to battery) Extendable boom (extends from 24 to 53")
  6. 21 trolling flies. Attomiks, 2 NK and a couple howie flies. In great condition (most never touched water). Some of the clolros are 42 second, TG, Glow, Blue Hypnotist for examples. $35.00 and I will ship to lower 48 free of charge.
  7. Mower, are you talking about these? http://www.walleyetacklestore.com/bigjonmurodh.html If you are, they are awesome rod holders. I have 10 or them on my boat in Berts tracks. The mounts for the berts tracks are custom.
  8. With gobies around, I do not think temp is as much of a variable now as it used to be. Warmer temp pockets usually hold more fish. Browns will be found in cooler water if food is there. My buddy took 2 browns in 50 fow yesterday glued to the bottom. The water was 44 degrees on the bottom. The water inside along shore was warmer but void of browns. Once the thermalcline sets up, browns can be found where the thermalcline intersects the bottom and warmer (most of the time inside the intersection of the thermalcline and the bottom). Riggers, wire divers, leadcore, coppers and plainerboards with drop weights will all work. As for a temp where browns vacate the shallows, there are many variables that change that. Most of the time the browns start to move out when the water hits upper 50's and low 60's.
  9. I run my leaders the length of the rod. Water temp and bait is what brings fishin shallow.
  10. Is the primer bulb tight? Is it on the correct way? Do you have an air leak somewhere? Theses are all things to check first.
  11. I found any light will bother them. Only use the light when you need too.
  12. The new thing with DWI's and DUI's is they charge you to enter the country. They will sell you a temp. residency to enter the country. When we did the LOU icefishing trip to the Bay of Quinte, one of the guys in my group had a DWI. They let him in but he shelled out $200 on the spot for the temp. residency.
  13. Get a wash down pump and use one of the holes for the water intake. Washdown pumps are worth their weight in gold.
  14. Nice job. All you were missing for the cycle was a coho and a steelhead.
  15. Congrats Jeremy. What did you decide to do with the toilet?
  16. I heard a guy was bragging about catching pike in Conesus and dumping them in Honeoye. Everything in Honeoye is big but I do not think the pike will get huge. Honeyoe does not have enough cold water in mid summer to support slob pike.
  17. I have heard of 2 pike over 40" out of Honeoye in the last 4 years. There were pics on Iceshanty.com a couple winters ago. One was taken out of Trident and the other was taken off the North end.
