My buddy uses them for bass. It might work on Lake O for trout and salmon. I would worry about the hardware holding up to the stress of a big king. Another worry would be the other lures hooking the fish outside the mouth and making them fight sideways. Ever hook a king on a stickbait and it has one hook in the mouth and onither in it's gill plate? Makes a small king fight like a 40 lber.

Why would anyone eat carp when there are Pike, Walleye, and perch roaming around the waters of this state?

I got 5 of them last season. Only downfall is the placement of the line counter. Other than that, there is not a better reel for the $ IMO. The drags are super smooth and adjustments are more fine tuned than other brands (Tekotas).

Buy the 50/200 kz transducer for the Lowrance and run it on 50 and the eagle on 200. Tilt one transducer back so you can see your downrigger weights at all times. You can put your rigger weights just above the fish. If you have both on seperate frequencies you will not have any interference.

Alewives would not be a great source of food for muskies in Conesus. A lot of work for a food that is not that great in nutirents and very small compared to Great Lakes alewives. Muskies would do better in Seneca because they would have a lot of trout to eat (better nutirents than alewives).

25 a foot at East Fork Marina on Sandy Creek in Hamlin. 35 a foot at Sandy Creek Marina on Sandy. Electric is $100.00 extra a season and it is a little more protected.

I think just about every trip on Lake Ontario was memorable this year. The fishing was awesome all season. Big fish and lots of them. If I had to pick one, I would have to say the trip I took my wife out during the summer LOC. We did 21 fish in 3 hours of fishing and my wife placed with a steelhead.
