  1. A lot of the bows are in the streams and rivers. Some stay in the lake until late winter and run the trib they are going to spawn in. We used to fish the lake into early Nov. with my 19' boat and find steelies scattered anywhere in the lake. To go out and target a certain area and find bows is a crap shoot. The only game in town is browns along the shoreline.
  2. And you will be sitting in the seat next to him when the Giants join them!
  3. I'm in along with a couple buddies and my father. I talked to Gator about this earlier this year. Let me know Steve.
  4. The Patriots are a great offensive team. Defense, not good at all. If they want to get back to Super Bowl winning form, they will need to start playing BOTH sides of the ball not just offense. The Patriots may be a Super Bowl contender but they WILL not win the Super Bowl this season.
  5. 105 trolling spoons. The majority are NK's (28's, mags, M-80's, D4's and C5's) but there are some Pro King, Moonshine, Yeck, Suttons, crippled alewives and Silver Streaks. $150.00 takes them home. Buyer to pay for shipping. The C5 Nk's are not in the picture. I believe there are 5 C5's.
  6. 8 year old Honda Generator. It runs good but could run better. It had gas sitting in it since it's last use 5 years ago. It has only been used the three times we lost power. $150.00 takes it.
  7. Congrats on your first bow kill!
  8. Giants sure do stink. They let my loser Redskins with the WORST quarterback in the league beat them up in week one.
  9. Chad, I have Big Jons on my boat and have used Bert Ratcheting rod holders on my buddies boat. The ratcheting feature is nice on the Berts. The big Jons are built strong and are very high quality. I think either one would work for you.
  10. I have been using it since I purchased my boat. Amazing stuff. At the end of the season, it makes very easy work. A power washer and very little effort and the bottom looks like it was just painted. It goes on a copper color until it has been in the water. When rolling it on, work fast. Like Vince said, it dries really quickly.
  11. Spoons will not put as much resistance on the copper during deployment. I usually run just flashers and flies on the copper.
  12. Nice report and good way to end the season. It was nice meeting you this summer. Good luck hunting and see you on the water next season.
  13. Sorry for your loss Ray.
  14. I'm glad this happened to the Sox and the Braves. Takes my Mets off the hook for their collapse a couple seasons ago.
  15. They will stick to 100. The guys that run heavy power pro for rigger line say it sticks like crazy.
  16. I run 8' leadcore rods. If you are running inlines, I would go with a 8'. Regular boards, you can get away with a 6'6" if it is stiff enough.
  17. Happy Birthday Mark.
  18. It is braided 45lb. copper. There is also 30lb but the sink rate is a little less.
  19. A 300' copper will get you down 66' with a spoon and around 60' with a flasher @ 2.2 mph (same lenght as 10 colors but a lot more depth). A 250' copper will put you around 55, a 200 around 44' a 150 around 33' and a 100 around 22'. I'm not sure how much copper a Okuma 45 will hold. A 30 will hold a 100' copper with plenty of 30lb backing. I ditch all of my leadcore rigs 5 seasons ago for copper and I have not turned back.
  20. Did you ever think of using coppers? You can use short coppers and achieve more depth with less line out.
  21. Nice report old man. I would think they would want to dump all of them in one spot (safety in numbers). Interesting.
  22. The offshore bite should be strong for another week or two. Weather is the key factor. River fishing is ok. It would be a lot better but the snagging really puts a damper on the fishing for law abiding repsectful fishermen. Lots of good people on the tribs but they are out numbered by scum.
  23. I could write a check for it but I'm sure it will bounce! Very nice looking rig.
  24. Tcon, The net has a very large hoop with a 4' handle. ScottB, Not this time but I still have it if you are interested. Gator, I will give you a call. I have been really busy working OT.
