  1. The one I won the 2005 fall LOC lake trout division weighed 24.11lbs and was 41" long. I have no idea what the girth was on the fish. I had a 23lb. 15 oz fish the following year that was only 36" long but much fatter. Both fish were weighed on LOC derby scales.
  2. If he was hard core, he would be buffy fishing like Ray!
  3. Nice Brown. I know the location. I work there.
  4. Happy belated B-day Keith.
  5. Some of the new ones are daytime viewable. Besides, who fishes without a tent these days?
  6. IF you are fishing shallow ponds, I would go with a under water camera before a flasher. The only time I use my flasher now is when I Jig lakers on some of the Finger Lakes. The camera is more fun to watch and a better tool in some cases.
  7. I use a 8 weight. Crayfish imitations and nymphs work good when they are mudding. If you can get them to eat dog food or bread that you chum, you can use brown glow bugs (have to color the glow bug yarn brown yourself) or make a bread fly out of glow bug yarn and use floatant to make it float like the bread pieces. Carp fishing on the fly is a blast. Lots of small ponds have good numbers of big carp in then. My personal best is a 35lb. grass carp from a pond that is about 3 acres. You will need florocarbon from 6 to 10lb. test. Carp can be really line shy. They can be very spooky of movement too. Casting can be a real challenge when using the fly rod. Any other questions, feel free to PM me.
  8. jkarol, Are you talking about the large ship tie off right outside the channel at Round Pond? It is sticking out of the water right now. The barge off of Long Pond is easy to find on calm days with clear water. Look just West of the channel to Long Pond in 10-12 Fow. there are 2 large stacks that stick up a couple feet off the bottom.
  9. 6 Weighted keeled floating goose decoys. In good shape. 2 have a couple BB holes - one takes on some water but the other does not. They all have 6' camo rope and weights on them for anchoring. They also come in a carrying bag. They have only been used a couple times. $80.00 take them. Pick up only.
  10. In great condition. $15.00. Will ship at buyers expense.
  11. This snowblower is in good condition. It has a little rust on the body but runs great. It has electric start. $150.00 and pick up only.
  12. That is not a sunken barge off Round Pond. The sunken barge is off of Long Pond in 10 -12' a little West of the channel.
  13. There is a sunken barge right off of Long Pond in 10' of water also. Usually some rockbass and perch around that barge.
  14. Nope Ray. Just trying to get a small boat for perching and duck hunting.
  15. I'm selling my electric smoker. It has only been used twice. I will take $100.00 for it. Pick up only. It is a Smoke Hollow brand smoker with 4 racks. Works perfect for smoking salmon filets.
  16. Looking for a small aluminum boat or a jon boat in good condition. No trailer or motor needed. It must be leak free and able to register.
  17. I worked for Sam for 7 years and knew him since the Mid 80's when he was at Pultneyville. He was a very generous and kind man. He will be greatly missed. The funeral times and dates are in the D&C today. I will see some of you guys there.
  18. Happy Birthday Billy.
  19. Nice job Zach. Hopefully your hard work on those lures will pay off for you.
