  1. The more you know the better off you will be! It does cause you to over think things sometimes though.
  2. By the size of most of the lakers being caught, I would say the lampreys are taking their toll on bigger lakers. Tons of food and not many big lakers. With the food in that lake, it should be producing giants. A 10lb landlock should not win the National Lake Trout derby...….
  3. Awesome photos! Glad to see the Death Traps are producing well for you! They are catching on quickly and keeping me busy building!
  4. You are guilty too. We know you better than that Chad!
  5. Plankton bloom? Whiting event?
  6. Wicked Ridge Invader G3. I have it and it’s been a great crossbow. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  9. The two guys mentioned in this thread are using a product that is helping put fish in the boat. Ask either of them and they will tell you or stop in Roys marina and you will see them on the wall for sale!
  10. I run 8" with flies and meat. This season 8' paddles have been more productive for me with meat all season. Bigger paddles with meat and flies have had their days but 8" have been more consistent.
  11. It happens with my Mag 10 STX cannons too. Fast retrievals in choppy conditions throws slack into the cable.
  12. That's what I was talking about in my response.
  13. Does the canoe have registration papers with it?
  14. Like Dave, 8" paddles have been way better for me this season. bigger paddles have had their days but 8" have been more consistent.
  15. Having the actual rigger depth helps dial in the rest of your spread. Somedays details make all the difference. More info is great as long as you are smart enough to use it correctly.
  16. The lamprey are the issue! If the DEC gets the lamprey issue under control, survival rate for all species will be higher and bait populations will get the pressure they need!
  17. Could Huron Atlantics survive better due to less alewife in their diets?
  18. I have watched two drop down off of my work (Rochester).
  19. Yes. Some guys run them off inlines. I choose not to. Coppers are not much fun to reel in but they flat out catch fish!
  20. No divers on copper. I have 9 copper rods in different lengths. I run the coppers that achieve the depths I am working for fish.
  21. Not done yet but soon! Taxidermist sent me this pic Tuesday! Can’t wait! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. They all bend or break. Most of the time it is from hook removal. I have seen Addaya break just like Owners.
  23. 2 riggers with spoons cheated, 2 divers with ff / fly or meat, 2 coppers with meat. Simple, Spread out and catches fish!
