    They have been shallower than normal so far this fall. 8-15' has been good.

    When the seals go in them and oil leaks out into the water, I would say that classifies as environmental harm.....They kill birds that fly into the blades, more expensive to build and maintain, and they don't last forever and are expensive to take down or rebuild.

    Gator, black tuxedo, alewife, Carbon 14, green jeans, purple glow alewife, green glow alewife, Froggy glow, NBK and green tuxedo were my best producers the past two seasons. Most are stingers listed above and some are moonshines. Stingrays and stingers sizes for Michigan Stingers and standard and mag for moonshines.     If this trend continues, I will order more custom colors tailored to the walleye fishery. This week was the second most profitable week since I started Gambler Rigs 4 years ago. My inventory is being depleted as fast as I can make them. It will be a busy winter for sure!

    I cant stand combat fishing. I would much rather blast offshore and have fun with steelhead.

    Don't be that one guy trolling North South when everyone else is making a nice East West pass!

    We drive around looking for schools of fish on the bottom. You spend some time looking but once you find them, it is worth it. Marking weigh points on schools while walleye trolling makes things easier once you limit on walleye.

    With the flow rates higher in the river than normal this summer, the fish were in slightly different areas.

    Thanks for the plugs guys! A new color is arriving any day now. I am also having a Gambler Rig exclusive spin n glo made for these rigs. If you look in Jakeybabys photos you will see it.     I had the same issue and it was the connector on the antenna. I bought a new on and soldered it on and I was back in the game.

    The New F-150's are lighter with the narrower body and the body being aluminum. It too little tongue weight, it can sway all over the place.

    I strip all of the old line off the my reels with a dowel and a drill. I put the dowel in the drill and tape the line the dowel. Run the drill until the spool is empty. Putting it back on, I use my 9 year old son to hold the spool on a dowel. He needs to earn his keep!
