    Every day is different. 1.8 - 3.2 and leads from 10’ - 50’. If your divers are not going, longer leads , changing to spoons, changing depth are some things to try.     I drag bottom and in hundreds of hours dragging bottom, I have hung up once. Most of the lake bottom in laker land is mud/silt bottom.’ I have brought up tree limbs, tackle and garbage over the years.     Fishing lake trout alone will knock the population down some. C&R mortality can be pretty high. Keeping every lake trout allowed in your limit every trip isn’t a lot but it is helping.     I got sh*t from the sheriffs boat for having expired flares on my boat. I had a case of new ones and the expired ones as back ups.

    Several over 30lbs and one over 40???? Sounds a little fishy to me. Seeing that 16 kings have been weighed in over 30 over the first 6 weeks of the tournament, several over 30 is a stretch.....
