  2. Used trolling motor. Works perfectly. $25.00. Located in Hilton NY. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Next year we will have a tackle shop! The structure from devils nose to Braddocks is some of the best on the entire lake. That stretch produced 2 19lb browns during the summer derby! We have every species right out front. The Rochester basin is the most under rated section of the entire lake! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. This one was 33” and weighed 19lbs 4oz. I caught a 33” brown the the 2003 spring LOC and it only weighed 13lbs 3oz. Girth makes all the difference with browns. Like whaler 1’s brown. That thing has massive girth! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Getting the pens out in the lake would be tough. The pens might not make it out of the channel. Dumping the pens would be very hard and a safety concern from a boat. There is always the chance the kings would be drawn back tot he creek due to the warm water. Taking steelhead to the lake is an even bigger waste of time. When we have released them in the past, guys fishing the creek upstream of 19 have caught steelhead we have released. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Sandy Creek. Catch surveys would show it is right there if not better than the Oak if Sandy had the boats that the Oak does AND the creel boat spent some time at Sandy! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. The only saving grace is the creek has a lot of Emeralds in it right now. Hopefully the kings left the creek. Another huge reason there needs to be an open season on them!!!!!
  8. The lake levels can not be blamed on record rainfall this time!
  9. They are out there right now taking sections of the boom out. Finally!
  10. Cameron Dawson posted the entire leaderboard on Facebook. It is 5 or 6 photos of it.
  11. Stinger, stingray and magnums. I catch browns and kings on all three sizes.
  12. Looks like Yankee Troller won by the picture I saw on Facebook (136.16 points). Congrats Rick, Craig and crew!
  13. Not really.
  14. Boom is still in. Look closely at this photo. You can see the lines of barrels holding back the ice. You can see the break in the boom ( line of barrels in a line pointing downstream). Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. I have had nothing but great experiences with them also.
  16. I heard the boom removal has been delayed due to the amount of ice on the back side of the boom. Looking at the camera, ice is going through the area that broke this spring in the wind event we had.
  17. All I can say is I'm not surprised...…..
  18. It’s 30lb on all my rigs. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. I have seen this multiple times in Conesus, Ibay and Braddocks. I have no clue as to why they do it. It is a weird sight!
  20. Lots will be tight to the bottom but I catch a ton of browns on high divers and cheaters. As August rolls around, the numbers only go up of fish up in bath water. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. This needs to happen. This has been an issue since they closed snagging. From snagging to poaching deer, fish and game fines are a joke in NY state. I just read a story about a guy in Ohio that poached a deer and received a $43,000 fine and loss of his license for 10 years. I would think that is a great way to keep guys (some not all) from breaking the laws! In NY state he would have received a hand slap.
  22. That would work for me. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. 1000’ of wire fits perfect. There is a slight space for backing but IMO it’s not worth the hassle. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
