November 14 an 26 degrees NW wind 5-15 Cloudy Snowing Winter wonderland here this morning. 2-3" of fluffy snow and the first significant snowfall for the year. It was far from action packed. A doe and a fawn headed to thick bedding and another doe and fawn into the corn. The most exciting thing this morning was a 2.5 year old buck running past the stand with his tongue hanging out. November 13 pm 33 degrees NW wind 5-15 mph Party cloudy I had to drop my kid off to basketball practice so I had a very late start this afternoon. Unfortunately I bumped a mature buck walking in about 60 yards from my stand. Not sure if he was bedded with a doe but I bumped a 1.5 year old buck also who was within 30 yards of him. Weird spot to be bedded but it's the rut. Got to the stand at 350. I got dressed in the stand only to realize a fawn watched me get dressed. It didn't bother her at all. She walked by me within 30 yards a total of three times tonight. Crazy deer. Had one other buck pass by me and that would be it for the quick sit. Apparently there is significant snow in the forecast for my area tonight, 2-5". Should be interesting. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

November 13 am 36 degrees WSW wind 5-10 mph Cloudy skies Crazy morning. Chasing, sparring, grunting, snort wheezing. 30+ deer. 9 different bucks. One mature buck. Today was what November deer hunts are all about. The picture is a mock scrape that is getting torn up. It is now about 4' x 3'. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Just had a 120" buck show up, hit three bedding areas, and chasing does all over the place. He just stays out of range and never gets within 40 yards. When he leaves the last bedding I grunt to him and heads to me on a string. He's quartering to me, which is no good. He stops about 25 yards out puts his head up and something has his attention. I look over and here comes my limping buck. I don't even think twice about passing on this other buck and all my attention is on him. He's literally trotting right at us from 150 yards away. He stops about 60 yards. Starts posturing. Hair goes up on his neck. Snort wheezes twice. The smaller buck circle around him but wanted nothing to do with him. One flinch from the big buck and the other ran off. And I got to watch him chase all the does around before he eventually disappeared in the corn. Pretty damn cool to watch. Just had a 1.5 year old buck pass through. I noticed something has his attention. A much bigger bodied deer emerges from the brush. I see from the glow of white he is outside the ears. He is posturing big time. Little buck wants nothing to do with him. I fumble for my binoculars put glass on him only to realize he looks to be a 2.5 year old. An over zealous 2.5 year old. November 12 am 32 degrees SW wind 5 mph Cloudy skies Went back to the stand I hunted yesterday morning but it didn't live up to yesterdays hype. I had a fawn come through about daybreak and I did have another encounter with a shooter buck. It wasn't a buck that I have on camera so it was tough to tell exactly how big he was. Once again scrapes were tore up since I was there 24 hours ago. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Possible shooter just came through. Another buck I don't have pictures of. Couldn't get a great look at him through the binoculars but wide racked short tined 8-10 pt. He acted like dog hunting rabbits. He walked circles with his nose to the ground first in the corn and then in the thicket for 5-10 minutes before making a decision on which direction to go. November 11 pm 34 degrees SW wind 5 mph Cloudy Occasional snow flurries Crazy evening. Once the clock struck 4 it was game on. 4-7 young bucks, 6-10 does and fawns, and one mature buck. Deer running around all over. 15 minute scrap with two 1.5 year old bucks. The same mature buck with the heavy limp that I saw yesterday morning made his way out of the corn tonight to chase does. Truly amazing to see him limp around but it doesn't stop him from chasing does. He is gonna slip up. Two days in a row and both sightings within gun range. Scrapes were torn up again since yesterday morning also. Today was easily the best day that I have had in the woods in 2018. Saw 3 mature bucks from the stand. Scraping, sparring, chasing. 10-13 different bucks. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
