  4. November 4 am 40 degrees SW wind 5mph Clear skies Seemed to be a close to a perfect morning as they get. Heard some grunting on my walk in this morning. Figured it was game on today. Nope. A doe and fawn slipped through really early. Had a young buck cruise through about 815 and another around 915. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Seems to be a perfect November morning. Heard some grunting on the walk in this morning from the woods to the West. A doe and fawn at first light have been it so far though. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. November 3 pm 50 degrees WNW wind 5-15 with occasional gusts 30+ Cloudy Apparently I should have just stayed home but it's November and I can't help myself. Never saw signs of life at all this afternoon. Not deer. Not a squirrel. Not a chipmunk. Not a goose or a duck or any sort of bird. Nothing. Zero. 10. November 3 50 degrees NW wind 10-15 mph Cloudy Rainy becoming even more rainy This morning didn't pan out like I had hope. Looked like i might have a couple hours in the morning rain free but it didn't work out. A couple of coyotes and a button buck would be it this morning. Left the stand early and pulled a card. Looks this afternoon might be a bust as this front pushes through. I would highly recommend everyone be on stand tomorrow morning. Looks to be ideal conditions for once. 14. Just had an obnoxious 2.5 yo 8pt grunting up a storm. Didnt see him but I could hear him. Grunted back and he came right to the tree. He saw the doe and the chase is on! Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Wow. All that rain made the woods very quiet. Looked over my left shoulder and had a doe and two fawns within 10 yards Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  20. LOL!!!
  21. 60 degrees, 15-20 mph winds, and nagging rain looks like i'm gonna sit this round out.
  22. October 31 am 51 degrees S wind 5-10 mph Cloudy Heavy rain becoming scattered Probably not a day I would consider "ideal" but i still hunted. Heavy rain ended here about an hour before sunrise and the light rain ended just before daybreak. Pretty slow morning. I could see some does moving around in the corn midmorning and that would be it for deer sightings. Kind of an ugly weather pattern for the next couple of days. Gonna have to see what this rain and wind wants to do. I did happen to see a few very impressive, fresh rubs on my walk out today. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Well by the sounds of it you are definitely in one of his routes to and from his preferred bed. I think the time of day really spells that out. Judging by the frequency that he's using it, he feels confident and secure in his travels also. Pick and choose your days wisely. I would put some serious thought into what the best wind for the stand and also figure out the best approach in or out is. It might sound strange but I would check the wind history for the dates and times you have him on camera. It might not matter but there could be a pattern there. Knowing his travel route to and from his primary bedding gives you an opportunity at him for the entire season and not just the rut. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
