December 11 pm 33 degrees SE wind 5-10 mph Cloudy Heavy snow at dusk Tons of tracks in the snow since I was there Saturday evening. Only two deer this afternoon. Looked to be a small buck and a doe fawn. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
December 11 am- late season opener 25 degrees NW wind 5 mph Cloudy Few snowflakes Beautiful this morning but zero movement this. Lots of tracks in the fresh snow but they looked to be a couple hours old. Checked a camera and it's showing almost no daylight movement since the gun opener. Some deer movement an hour or so before sunrise which seems right. Dusk until about 9pm seems best. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Well another NY gun season is in the books. Congratulations to everyone who punched tags and good luck to those pushing through muzzleloader season. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
December 9 pm 32 degrees SW wind 5 mph Partly sunny Just as I expected does and fawns showed themselves at dusk. 8 total. A bit late to pull the trigger. I did a bunch of scouting the past two days and what I have realized is, is I lack great food late season food sources. I have a couple of spots that look promising including tonight's spot. Time to key in on those locations throughout muzzleloader season and hope a big boy shows himself. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Muzzleloader in hand and on the ground tonight. I'm on overwatch detail and they were here last night. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
December 9 am 22 degrees South wind 5 mph Cloudy skies Back at it this morning after a very long break from hunting. From here on out I should be in the woods every day until the season ends. Zero action this morning but I heard 29 gunshots before 830. 15 of those were before 730. Decent weather so I can imagine there is a lot of guys in the woods today. The tracks in the snow tell a heck of a story. We have had snow since Wednesday afternoon and it showed me that there is plenty of deer around. I sure 99% of the movement is during nighttime hours though. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

It's been a while but I'm back in the woods looking to fill a doe tag with the bow. Tons of fresh sign including a primary scrape that has been recently opened back up. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Cold front rolling in Tuesday night into Wednesday. More of a typical December weather trend with high temps in the mid 30s and lows in the 20s. Looks like lake effect snow also.

There really is no reason why you would not wear blaze orange. I put such little trust in other people and that's my reason to wear it. Last thing I need is someone trying to identify what i am through a scope.
The two trespassers that my neighbor caught last week... no blaze orange. While I was driving home yesterday, I saw two guys on "watch" for a drive with no blaze orange.
