Yup. Ill be out till the last day they legally allow me. I still have 3 tags. Id love reports of deer and trespassers. Especially trespassers!

Yuk Rain... I slept in instead. Ill be out again later with my kid. Im still hoping for a chance at a bow kill for him.

A little burned out. Slept in this morning. But I will be grinding it out til the end. Cant help to already be planning moves for next season. The list is growing by the day.

Do you hear that? Yeah me neither. Thats what the woods sounds like as the rut activity grinds to a halt. Time to switch tactics. Since the third day of gun season i have seen very little daytime movement. 95% of all activity has been within 10 min of legal sunset and sunrise. Does are pounding fields in the pm hours and i think i need to switch all of my attention to field edges in the pm. As for the am hours, i will continue to sit on bedding areas in hopes of catching a cruising buck even though I have had very little activity in the am since the opener. Its just that time of year i guess.
