  9. Fuse block all the way. i have all of my assessories wire to one. It limits the mess of directly wiring to the battery but also puts an additional fuse into the circuit. Im thinking mine came from West Marine.

  12. The diver setup that im using is an Okuma Classic Pro GLT (10' diver rods) with an Okuma Cold Water reel 30 series loaded with 1000' of Blood Run wire. Any 30 series Okuma is a good choice whether its a Convector, Cold Water, or a Catalina. Convector is a great place to start. What ever your choice, a line counter reel is a must. A large quality swivel tied on directly with a simple overhand knot and absolutely never any crimps. A twilly tip is not absolutely necessary but highly recommended and I never use a snubber. The precision trolling guide book is a huge help with depth conversion.
  13. 7 strand. 19 stand is very nice to work with and knot tying is awesome but... you will soon find out that single strands have a tendency to break with 19 and they become very tough to manage. Ive have seen them break everywhere including 300' into the spool. very tough to protect against.

A large quality swivel tied on directly with a simple ovehand knot and absolutely never any crimps. A twilly tip is not absolutely necessary but highly recommended and I never use a snubber. Majority of the time I use Mag divers because they track tighter to the boat but there are times where standard size divers have their use. I keep my leader lengths are 8-10'. The precision trolling guide is a huge help with depths.
  18. 8-10' leaders with divers leader length on the riggers changes constantly. 10'-70' w/ 15-35' being the norm. depends on depth, water clarity, etc.
