  1. please let me know too!
  2. I always fish my divers with mag rings. With the rings on it makes them dive tighter to the boat and keeps them out of the way better when fighting fish.
  3. Unless your fishing 2 divers per side there is no need to run divers on a 3 1/2 but if you prefer it then run your copper down the chute. I would suggest putting your copper on a board and fishing your divers on a 2 setting though.
  4. why land them? they only make a mess out of the boat!
  5. I thought the same thing...
  6. check out brettsplaceonthebay.com or lakemichiganangler.com also for online purchasing!
  7. Now thats the truth!
  8. you can order direct from them... Captains Cove at the Oak is also a retailer...
  9. The first 50-75 ft coming off the reel of big coppers is always the toughest. keep the clicker on, tight spool tension. Keep in mind that the 32# copper doesnt have the same sink rate as 45# copper. So if your fishing 32#, you can achieve the same depths with 45# copper with less line out. It was designed with walleye fisherman in mind (short segments) not salmon fisherman. Although 32# may be easier a little easier to use but 45# will out perform it and hold up better in the long run.
  10. The answer is yes! Much easier deployment and less back lashing.

  13. I retooled everything with convectors last year (Coppers, riggers, leadcore, and divers) and have been very pleased with them so far. As far as reel size... riggers= 30 wire divers= 30 10 color leadcore= 45 200 copper= 45 300-450 copper= 55 They have a few choices for rigger rods but for copper and leadcore i would highly suggest Classic Pro GLT Copper/Leadcore Rod (model CP-CL-862M). https://www.okumafishing.com/
  14. Arneys is a great bet. Great facility, good people. They will charge you a $5 launch fee but it will be worth it not dealing with the traffic at the public launch. http://www.arneysmarina.com/
