  1. i dont know but when you do find them, send them our way!
  2. 1/2 day trip this morning and the fishing report isnt much different then last weekend. Fished in tight (7-12 fow), without any luck, first thing this morning but the water has cleared right up. Trolled north and found a screen in 50- 75 fow. We kept busy with Lakers and I heard of some other fish being caught in the mix (atlantic, coho, brown, steelie). 70-75 fow was the best and Flasher/ flies were the ticket (Green on white Spinnys and Smartfish loaded with green flies). 130' and 160' on the wire were hot and the 300' copper took 5 shots. Good size to most of the fish but nothing over 15#.
  3. Very nice chicken. Good to see your in the water and fishing.
  4. nice way to spend the morning
  5. You gotta start early and get the lines set in those predawn hours. I think if you fish that division you need to take full advantage of the time frame they give you and start as early as you can.
  6. We were late but we also attended the Sandy Creek chicken bbq. 73 fow and Mag sized NKs (watermelon and super spook were the 2 best). After rerigging and before all the rods were even set, we started the event with a triple . 1 fish about 16# another about 14# and the rest were cookie cutters.
  7. Thats why it pays to be mobile!
  8. Daiwa 47LC with 1000' of 7 strand wire and daiwa 9'6" heartland rod
  9. I have a small file type hook sharpener with a groove in it for hook points. Simple and it works great.
  10. wanted 2 cannon downriggers (electric), swivel bases, mounting plates, dual rod holders
  11. I "caught" one on a flasher/fly a few years back. I figured it got snag going after the flasher thinking it was a new host but it didnt live long enough for me to ask.
  12. The creek is low but no worries at all.
  13. ...and dont forget the mosquitos!
  14. Couldnt close the deal on opening morning although i heard plenty of gobbling and saw plenty of birds including 1 real nice tom (that strutted for over 3 hours, 100 yards away). This morning the whole flock was in the woods roosted and at daylight 6 hens (including 1 bearded hen), 3 jakes, and 2 mature toms flew off the roost and into my field less than 80 yards away. After a couple hours of watching birds, one of the jakes came over to strut for my 2 hen decoys. Well that got the attention of one of the big toms, and in the process of scaring off the jake, he ended up well within gun range. 1" spurs and 9 1/2" beard. Great day and certainly one of the craziest mornings i have ever spent in the turkey woods, that ended in success.
