November 3 pm 59 degrees Variable west wind Clear skies turning foggy Busy afternoon on stand. I literally feel sorry for the does I saw tonight. Heavy chasing all afternoon. Bucks were all over the place. Most of them I saw more then once. I saw 7 different bucks and only 6 does/fawns. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

November 2 pm 60 degrees Sunny skies NE wind 5-10 mph Lots of action again this afternoon and love was in the air!!! Most of the action was between 4-5. 22 total deer seen. 7 of that were bucks and 2 unknowns walking out. Saw it all this afternoon. Bumping, chasing, scent checking, scraping, rubbing, grunting. Of the bucks I saw 3 were 1 year olds 1 2 year old and 3 mature bucks. One of the matures was clearly a shooter (130+ class buck). One was a massive bodied buck but lacked the head gear. He dwarfed the other bucks in the field by a long shot. When I saw him walk out I grabbed my bow just because of his body size only to be disappointed by his 7 pt 105" horns. And the other strange mature buck was 17"+ wide with fairly long beams. 3 short points on the left and on the right he had 5 bumps that might not of even been 1" long. I have a LOCBA meeting tonight so no stand time for me tonight. Knowing that I went and hung a new set when I got out of work. Im typically an edge or a fringe hunter and this set is deep in the middle of the woods. Primary bedding all around me. No humans ever venture this deep. Not even the trespassers lol. I actually had to get adjoining landowners permission for access. I needed a back door entrance in order for it to work and this was it. Set was hung for northerly winds so I will have to pick my days wisely but gun season I should get plenty of chances to use it.

October 31 pm 59 degrees Variable wind Cloudy with occasional rain shower Slow up until about 500 and then the deer were on their feet. Maybe they were waiting for the rain to pass before they got out of their beds. 18 deer seen from the stand tonight including 4 bucks. And another 7 seen on the walk out in the adjacent field. I witnessed a hell of a buck fight between 2 1.5 year old bucks within 10 yards of my stand. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
