  4. i took them last saturday (feb2), right after the freezing rain and snow. i drove by and thought it would make a cool pic.

    Honeoye 2-4

fished honeoye w/ scottb today. uncharted and unexplored hard water for the both of us. bass minnows on tipups accounted for a total of 8 flags (2 keeper bass and 1 nice perch)
  9. nothing cazy and nothing new to report. just a nice slow and consistant perch bite w/ about 80% being keepers. ended the day with my limit. fished the day with a few board members, (all of which seemed to do well).
  10. no doubt, can only pick one, go to lure..........spinnerbait
  11. ice was still in great shape
  12. cold and breezy morning on the bay. hot early bite turned into a slow pick. iced 45 keeper perch, lost a bunch, through back a dozen or so dinks. tip downs w/ big niagaras. dead and alive baits were working. maybe a dozen others out there mostly fishing for perch. didnt see any pike iced.
  13. it was an extremely light bite. lost a ton of fish from not being able to hook them. iced a few that werent hooked, they just didnt want to let go of the bait. majority of the fish were of good size, we had very few dinks. i figured there would be more pike caught with the amount of tip ups on the ice.
  14. i heard from guys there that saturday was a good day and i assume thats why it was as busy as it was on sunday.
  15. busy place this morning, it might of qualified for its own zip code. slow but steady perch action. myself and scottb managed 40-50 keepers all on tip downs w/ fatheads.
  16. kappy, i was out with scott this morning on braddocks. i would say 4"+ of clear ice. we fished the south end and there were guys fishing near the point. extremely slow but the majority of what was caught was good size (10"+).
  17. lakers? what are those?
  18. for anyone keeping score at home we have........ 1 vote for flip flops? 1 vote for tevas? and 3 votes for crocs?
  19. i wish i could pile on but it looks like i dont need too!
  20. i would suggest getting them up a little higher if you can. the higher you go the wider you can make your spread and still keep the planer board line out of the water
  21. any one up for some seafood?
  22. how high off the water would you say that is? 6' seems to work well on my boat.
  23. no but for the past few years weve been going to http://www.ringneckhunting.com/ cant say anything but great things about the people and the hunts.
